Even if we accept the size argument, Bruno is not a particularly good example of a big heavyweight.

He feasted on tomato cans, lost whenever he stepped up in competition, then went back to fighting tomato cans again.

Nice guy, but simply not that good!

Picking Bruno on size alone here, is straying into the territory of thinking that size is the only thing that matters.

That is more than you would have dared to do, when he fought a live contender in the real world!

I pick Marciano cause Foreman and Liston were bums.

my opinion is Bruno stops 185lb Marciano, its not a stupid idea considering its a physical mismatch. Match Rocky against Cruisers if you want to be fair !

Marciano had tough tough fights with light heavyweights, and Bruno is one of the stronger heavies I've seen over the years. Rose tinted my friend

Heading for 4 stone difference as well. Weight is really a major issue here, strength is another major factor too. Hes likely getting man handled from the off, not even a wear down process, just bullied !

Do you think that most of the better cruisers would not have beaten Bruno?

In other words, a limited fighter.

The reason why he had tough fights with light heavyweights, was because they were ranked contenders, who consistently beat other ranked contenders.

Bruno is just a big guy with a punch, who feasted on tomato cans, and lost whenever he stepped up.

I think that you are looking at Bruno with rose tinted glasses to be quite frank!

I cant see why Rocky's fans find it so outlandish that he might fail to give away such size weight ,height disparities.
Suggesting it might be the case, it's like someone farted in church!
