I feel bad for the guy who hit the bag after Roy. You could see how intimidated he was to have to follow an ATG.
It also looked like Roy was trying to give him some instruction at the end ... nice; he could've been a d*ck about it.
I thought the same thing. It was kind of like you go singing in a karaoke right after Frank Sinatra or Nat King Cole ....lol
Amazing handspeed. You should check out Mosley's double-end footage too (much higher overall degree of difficulty): This content is protected
Dayum. When he threw the big left hook, im thinking there’s no way he can keep hitting it accurately off that. And yet he does. And the ending was crazy too.
He was a freak of nature. That combination of speed, coordination and timing is what made him the best (not greatest, though) fighter of all time in his prime, imo.
Extra impressive....but I'm just as impressed by my man Floyd Patterson here... This content is protected and I'm sure Floyd was dazzling on other speed apparatus....
I think we we're separated from birth Red! When London fought Floyd here in Indy in 59, my dad, uncle, and my Korean war vet bud were there for Floyd's workouts. My war vet buddy saw a black custodian put down his mop to watch Floyd on the speed bag. After it was over he walked away saying "OH MY GOD"!! Fastest HW (size factor, I know) of all time!
