Cujo is from Virginia area- very tough boxer with pretty good stamina.
He can put on pressure but he is very easy to hit and he doesn't punch that hard.
He could make it interesting because he takes a pretty good punch and he's got pretty good stamina.

The best way to stop him fighting is to just stop attending his fights and/or giving them any attention, once it becomes financially unrewarding everybody involved will have to stop at some point.

I guess it would have to depend on the circumstances of the loss. But I think that a petition to stop him fighting would just make him dig his heels in.

He's going to continue until he still feels good in the gym and he can still fight at a certain level.

Compared to his performance against Rodney Moore last year, all things considered, he actually looked good against Bobby Gunn. I tipped Gunn to beat him.

Not until his next kayo loss, you don't suppose? I feel like he could rationalize away Lebedev being world class and Maccarinelli being, at the very least, a world-class puncher - but what if he does a chicken dance at the hands of somebody like a Sigmon? Would that, at last, be the wake-up call needed to cut through all those layers of Quixotic pride?

Honestly mate, I don't really know. But I think he would instinctively try and find a reason for his loss.

I really can't envisage him losing and then saying that it was either a sign by God to stop, or that he just can't fight even at a low level anymore. The latter would be incredibly hard for him to acknowledge.

You know that I'm a huge fan and I watch/read all of his interviews etc, but it took until 2012 for him to publicly admit that he wasn't the fighter he'd once been.

I guess that unless we ever found ourselves in a similar position, it's just unimaginable to know what he's going through. He can still fight. He's still reasonably fit. He still feels young mentally. He still has desire. He craves the attention. He has a huge ego. He's dedicated his life to the sport since he was 8 years old. He can't see what me and you can see. But if we were in his position, who's to say we wouldn't act exactly the same?

I'd love to speak to Alton Merkerson. It must have been very tough for him to have walked away. I'd like to think that they're still in regular contact with each other.

Good question. As long as the doctors clear him let him fight. That's how I feel. I think part of his motivation to fight on may stem from the Hopkins affection. Bernard was praised for his longevity even though in his 40s he kept losing, just like Jones.

Think about it. You beat Hopkins with 1 hand. And do it all without ever leaving first gear. You shutout James Toney. You move up to HW and win a MW title and a HW title. So you do all this and show you're the better fighter and people still have the nerve to rate Hopkins over you. And for what? Longevity?

Takes a lot of restraint under these circumstances to not go on TV. And then address the media, fans and Hopkins with a middle finger accompanied by the words "**** off".

This will probably be among the top ten most interesting fights of the year so far by the time it happens; that's how slow a start 2018 is off to.

I'm sure Sigmon is being paid handsomely for this dive he is about to take.
