Frampton is facing Donaire. If Donaire isn't worried about what's coming back it could be a tough fight (if he's not completely shot) as he does hit hard and will always have that power.

Because he is a bigger name and is commercially bigger than Quigg who is getting a world title shot against a guy he know doubt would like to fight.

Donaire is well past his best and is not a world title fight. Getting the Valdes fight is a much bigger fight at this stage.

Donaire is a name that will sell and it would be a easier fight then Valdez while he waits for the winner of Selby Vs warrington and these fights will be in the UK

But I don't think any fight will happen with Selby till after the summer and Frampton is due big show at Windsor Park in summer. Style and ability wise Valdes would be a better fight for Carl than Selby is.

I know if Quigg gets this fight I think Carl will be regretting his decision to have not went with Hearn. Hope Frank can deliver more big opponents for him than he's managed for likes of Flanagan over the years.

Don't forget Frampton has spoke of fighting Selby for years now, Selby is clearly a fight he wants. Plus, Valdez has been interested in fighting Frampton in the past, if he beats Quigg the Frampton fight is bigger early next year. If Quigg beats Valdez, a potentially huge rematch may possibly be available at some point... 'possibly'

Either way, Frampton is due a world title shot in the summer and I think Warren will deliver.

Agree that Valdes is a bigger fight. But there isn't enough money to take that in Belfast. Frampton has the luxury of a loyal following that means he can get the home comforts. Quigg would fight in Bury if he had the following Frampton did

There's no way Valdez is gonna come unless it's a ridiculous offer

I disagree. I think a sell out Windsor Park crowd generating in region of £2m on gate is more than enough, especially when you take into account sponsorship and tv rights in addition.

Ok. So how much does Frampton get from that. As the champ who is travelling will want to be amply compensated. The numbers don't work.

Well with sponsorship and tv rights even if non ppv in UK it would gross in region of £3m. Valdez recent purses around $400,000 So about £275,000 so i think if you trebled that pay day he would have came and give Frampton in region of £500,000 on based on fact its only way champion will come and he gets his dream of fighting at Windsor Park and winning world title.
