Foreman won the initial bout of comebacking kings vs Joe Louis. Who takes this one? I have allowed room to move with Holmes as many debate whether he was better vs Tyson (lack of preparation and rusty) or better after having some fights under his belt. Either way Joe is younger i think. Personally i think it's tight and am still open to either. Both were a shadow of what they had actually been tho still reasonably handy.
I'm going to pick the Holmes of the 90 s to beat Louis of 51.I think Larry still had a fair bit about him, the win over mercer and going the distance with holy and mccall. Whilst Joe was still handy to a degree I feel he'd lost a lot more by that point in time. So I see Holmes winning a decision, a unanimous one, but perhaps his face may show the signs of the still formidable Louis jab.
This one is the only scenario where holmes has chance to beat a version of louis. Prime vs prime louis knocks him the **** out badly
prime for prime, louis takes a decision by a single point but this, probably larry. joes tank was gone by then, though I expect him to take an early lead.
Tyson... A good finisher just like louis... But the real question is who had holmes hurt badly and drunk...? Nearly everyone who could punch
