You’re deluded. You’ve just contradicted yourself. NXTGEN shows are exactly what they. A platform for young/up and comers to showcase their talent. Not one of them has headlined a show so they are show fillers. Okolie is stepping up now and getting his chance to headline and if we all know it’s not a main matchroom show but if you went up to a random on the street and asked them who Okolie was and who Tete was... who would they know more?

Franks up and comers (Dubois and Yarde) are his poster boys!

I honestly can't imagine being less arsed about something than a boxer's IG followers. Is this point in reference as to who on the street would know Okolie or Tete more? Okolie or the South African who has spent most of his career in a different continent entirely?

I don't get these discussions. Ultimately, anyone who is on Sky will generally be more well known than anyone on BoxNation. That's more or less all there is to it.

Yeah but I wouldn't say its relying on Okolie. The fans cant have it both ways. You either want to see good fights or not. Okolie v Chamberlain is a good fight. Is it too early for Okolie, maybe? However he clearly wanted the fight so why not make it?

he’s a virtual nobody headlining a show in the U.K. do you think he’s selling the tickets? Or is it frank pushing his young guns Dubois and Yarde and hoping they sell the tickets? Eddie is not doing that with his young Olympians they’re show fillers or headlining next gen cards bar this first step up for Okolie. That’s my point.

I’ve got no problem with Okolie - chamberlain. It’s a good fight, im looking forward to it.

The point I was making was that Hearn is only putting this fight on now, instead of building it up because he is struggling to put on standard Saturday fight nights. How many times has Eddie said it himself..’’this is a York Hall fight’’ I want to pay both guys what they deserve so let’s build it up etc’’

To go deeper into it - Eddie was planning for this card to be PPV

Wilder v Whyte, Buglioni V Callum Johnson etc..but it hasn’t worked out so he had to compromise.

The last shows they were on were headlined by Saunders and Selby/DeGale, were they not? So I don't think it's that different to what Hearn is doing at all. Tete in theory should be a ticket seller because he's an excellent fighter and seems a very likeable guy. But he isn't British or on Sky, so most 'regular' fans won't know who he is because most just don't have an interest beyond Sky, ultimately.

Hearn's stable is weak? It's LIGHT YEARS ahead of Warren's.

It really isn’t mate. Hence the fact that a Saturday fight night on Sky feels like an annual event now there so few and far between.

Let’s be honest.. Hearns stable is better but they’re both poor at present. Some of these youngsters need to step up now on both sides.

Yarde is just bullying smaller guys and dubios because he is young it's ok to knock out trash cans with no chins they must have no confidence in either and aj might have fought him in the same amount of fights but he didnt that kind of trash

    This is just nonsense.
Yardes last opponent, in his previously fight fought to a draw against robert stieglitz for the EBU at light heavyweight. Yes, he’s spent the majority of his career at super middleweight, but he’s also a grown man in his 30s not some kid.

I really don’t understand what point your trying to make about Dubious.
