I called crawfords ko of indongo live. Me and my roomate were watching and i said "if indongo keeps lunging in with his left hand low like that, crawford will end the fight with an overhand right" and thats what happened.
Easy one for me. MAB over Hamed. I remember never being more certain about the outcome of a fight (or happier, lol), and I'm not a particularly good prognosticator.
I was taking nothing away from Honeyghan just stating the facts of Don's condition/ Both Dave Gorman & trainer Paul Reyes wanted to pull Don out but Akhbar Muhammad wouldn't hear of it, It was him & that traitor Leonard doing Don was still trying to fight at 147. In my opinion they scuttled Dons career
What not even one like for these? I have evidence on here to back up the majority of these. I'll embolden the picks I'm the most proud of. I predicted Fury's UD over Wlad (thought Wlad would underprepare and also let Fury get to him) . My friends now think I'm a boxing sage. Maybe they're right lol. Although I also used to think Amir Khan was a future HOF. So it all balances out.
Here's a few close calls. Herrera over Danny Garcia Angulo over Lara Molina would trouble Matthysse Provodnikov over Bradley Trout over Canelo Rosado over Quillin
Man the best part about the Froch Bute pick was how bad Froch put the beatdown on him. You almost never see a lopsided ass kicking like that on that level of pro boxing. Bute was going straight back and Froch was just powerwalking him down without even any head movement just coming straight at the guy. And Bute just got ****ed up. I love that fight man.
The pick for me is Pac vs DLH. I remember saying Pac would cut through Oscar like a knife through butter but a lot of people said Oscar was too big for him.
I picked Pac to beat Hatton, De la Hoya, Cotto and Margarito, although I did **** up and pick him to beat Marquez in the 4th.
There used to be a poster years and years ago called PacDBest who predicted Pac's future career arc after his close win over JMM second time round. That's the most impressive prediction I've ever seen. Going into these matches it was clear Pac was a beast on top form and plus Margo was a huge mismatch, every man and his dog knew how that would go. Can't remember my pick for the 4th, I probably went with JMM because of the first 3 arguably going his way. But yeah PacDBest was something uncanny the way he foresaw the career.
Yeah I remember reading him when I wasn't posting, he posted for a few months after I started posting, I think we had a few interactions, mostly friendly.
I didn't really interact with many in the general back then, was mostly classic posting for me as every thread seemed to be Floyd this Pac that. But I would lurk in the general every si often to see thoughts about upcoming matches, and I lurked the hell out of IB's rbr threads.
