The best of Bert Cooper vs the best of Joe Fraizer. Could Bert Cooper pummel Fraizer around or does he get beaten up?

Bert's problem is that he ran out of ideas once the other guy didn't fall and started punching back. I specifically remember the Sanders fight where Bert was actually doing OK (though not winning) and in the third Sanders let rip with a series of rapid fire combinations that dropped Cooper. After than Bert actually turned his back and ran off, when the going got tough.

The going would get very tough with Frazier.

Bert has the physical tools and the skills to possibly pull it off, but I don't see him toughing it out against Frazier if you gave him 10 tries.

Ok, maybe one version of Cooper might have a chance - the one that went to war with Mercer and turned Ray's face into a halloween mask. I never saw him dig that deep again.

Could it be like Coopers fight with Holyfield?

Obviously I love Smokin' Bert. But, Smokin' Joe punishes Bert, and wins by stoppage.

Bert was a dangerous guy with vicious offense and a mean streak a mile wide, but had deficits in courage and conditioning, and those were two of Joe's best attributes.

Bert cooper was good against unkowns, anybody that could fight back beat him, he did put up a spirited performance against holyfield I'll give him that, but Frazier was the perfect combination between a prize fighter and a animal, Frazier knocks him out round 3. At best cooper lasts to round 4 but Frazier was a superior boxer or brawler

Could Cooper hit hard enough to hurt or drop Frazier?

If he could drop Holyfield he could drop Frazier with a good shot

Makes more sense than 1934 Max Baer vs 1988 Mike Tyson

Still a waste of time and space.

Actually Baer vs Tyson is MUCH more credible.
