At his best, he'd smash all of them all over the place.
Patterson would probably give him the most competitive fight.

Unforgiving nailed it. He beats them all with Patterson being toughest test before Max's vaunted right starts dropping him.

Tbh I'm not sure quarry actually beat Patterson. I'm also not sure Schmeling would. Those two are my fav hws and this is one of my fav fantasy fights. Very evenly matched.
I think Schmeling beats the rest rather handily. He was a class above them, he also was at least half a class above Quarry IMO.

He loses to Patterson.shavers may get lucky, can't rule the big puncher out.
The rest I think he beats.

I think Patterson should've won both fights, but technically, the record books show Quarry winning the fights.

Maximillian Adolph Otto Siegfried "Max" Schmeling.
    6'-1" Ht. 76" reach. 190-195 lbs.

I go with victories over Foster & Spencer, with the Floyd,
Shavers, & Lyle fights as toss-ups.

They do, however, I don't count them for or against them.

Would be interesting for a while but end up in a late stoppage of Quarry I think. Schmeling would just avoid a tad more of Quarry's punches and land more of his own, the longer the fight goes the more he would avoid and land. The accumulation would end up in a stoppage.

I suppose the question is in a way, was Quarry a better fighter than Sharkey? I think Floyd could beat Max, the rest no. Surprising myself, I think Jerry could beat Max, I feel his punching power is a tad overrated and Jerry had no glass chin.

Schmeling at his best would brutalize Quarry as well.

I'm not sure about that,at his best he couldn't brutalize Baer,Sharkey,Stribling or Uzcudun.
Quarry has a live chance against any of them.

Schmeling "cut the Basque's face to ribbons and had him blinded, bleeding and groggy at the finish. Most of the crowd of 40,000 roared its approval of the black-haired Teuton terror as he left the ring unmarked and fresh as a daisy." (UP).

I think he gave Stribling a brutal beating ultimately too.

I think most were convinced he beat Sharkey. If you're generous to Quarry you could imagine Quarry losing a clear decision I suppose.

Obviously he lost the Baer fight.
