Would Floyd have fought Crawford? At least Horn is fighting someone better than Floyd in his last dozen fights. I mean Andre Berto, washed up Pac, washed up Cotto, Maidana twice, joke portfolio. Give Horn credit no matter how bad you think he is.
No doubt we will hear the same people who so confidently predicted Pacquiao would ice Horn, claim Crawford will
Horn is tough but Crawford is the total package. I think Crawford can slice him up and get him out of there late.
You do realize Horn isn't a gangly glass jawed glass bodied hypejob who's only claim to fame is landing the perfect punch on another glass jawed fighter right? Jean and Diaz lasted 10 rounds, Molina lasted 8, Beltran and Postol lasted 12, what makes you think a guy who went 12 with Pacquiao in a war, who is a natural 154lber is, and YES, a lot harder to hit that all of the aforementioned fighters, is going to be blasted out in 6 by a man about the same height as Lomachenko, who's never fought at WW a day in his life against a guy who beat the living hell out of Manny Pacquiao, who even at this advanced age is literally 10 levels above anyone Crawford has shared the ring with? You don't dominate Jessie Vargas and Tim Bradley from bell to bell, with no signs of slippage and then just get all shot to **** in 6 months. Much has been made of Horn getting Manny at the right time, well did he? Manny was still damn fast, still awkward as hell, Manny was in this fight from bell to bell, he just got outhustled, roughed up, fouled and beaten down by a bigger, more awkward guy than himself. Quite frankly, this could prove to be a terrible choice for his debut at WW, he could very well e making a disastrous BHop-Smith Jr, man that Fonfara KO was just a fluke like decision.
I think it's a good fight. I think Horn is doing the right thing. He wants to shock the world yet again. He is still being told by idiots that he lost and is not good enough despite putting a whipping on arrogant pac and Freddie. I think he comes in motivated and gives Crawford his hardest fight he will ever face. Technically and skill wise it's clear who the better fighter is. But is going to be war. Horn ain't messing around.
I think beating Crawford would mean a lot more than beating pac, who was always going to fall from the top tier fast once age caught up with him. I expect Crawford to break him down though
It goes both ways indeed. Home advantage in boxing seems to be much bigger as most other sports. I think Crawford is clearly better, only we haven't seen him at WW yet. Vegas and Texas are safe and sure for him as even if he loses he still wins. But if he has to fight in Australia all bets are off, and he might see how many others felt after fighting in a foreign country.
I agree with you but I hope everyone keeps saying how much of a bum horn is and the odds are high so I can collect when horn beats crawfords skinny arse to the canvas
