How would Desert Storm have fared against the cream of the crop of the division? Who are the best junior welterweights you’d give him a good chance of defeating? Which junior welterweights, if any, do you consider to be completely out of his league?

I don't think he matches up well. He has good heart and handspeed, but he stays inside too much and in the range of any great with power. How would that match up well. He would be knocked out most of the time or overwhelmed by power.

I agree that he possibly would have not beaten much of the top guys but I dont think he gets knocked out in most or even few of them, maybe once or twice depending on a opponent, but wouldnt be surprised if by none

I mean nobody finished him. And look at the heavy BOMBS he took away from Ruslan and was concussed since the beginning but his recovery was incredible. Had a heart of a lion too, but not that much power. Good workrate too. That being said, he has been dropped many times in his career so chin is not exactly the best one but damn his recovery was amazing

Pryor, Arguello, Chavez etc etc. anyone great at 140.. He was right there to be hit. A lesser version of Meldrick Taylor.

Out of his league? Limiting it to fighters who held the title or campaigned seriously at the weight, I'd say he stands no chance against the top tier greats and h2h monsters of the division. Ortiz, Cervantes, Loi, Locche, Benitez, Pryor, Chavez and even old Arguello would all beat him with varying degrees of ease and not being seriously threatened, though it would probably take something fairly special to stop or ko him imo. I'd take underlooked great dark horse talents like Lane and Perkins to outclass him more often than not too. Your Frankie Randalls and Tippy Larkins of the world. Tszyu is the more obv recent yardstick and while I don't rank him alongside the likes of Ortiz and Cervantes, I'd still favour him cleanly over Tim albeit in a good fight. The best fighter he might beat is hard to say for me. The problem is that he lacked the necessary power and all-round ability for his style of box-punching for me, though he's a sterling example of maximizing what ability you do have. Give him a punch like Arguello, Carlos Hernandez (who 'd also beat him imo) or even Ortiz or Cervantes and he instantly becomes a much more formidable fighter, one capable of toppling the likes of Tszyu. It wouldn't have affected his style much either because he isn't a fleet footed pure boxer type or defensive savant either.

Smokin Bert and Chuck Norris like this.

I'd give him a decent chance against the likes of Fuji, Lopopolo, Peppermint Frazier, Hatton, Mamby etc. That's about the level I consider him to be at overall, though he's way from being a sure bet to defeat them. These guys were good fighters though, it's no insult to Bradley to be considered at their level. He's had a good, notable career and always distinguished himself by being dedicated and in shape but he isn't what I'd consider a special fighter. Titans like Cervantes would have crushed someone like old Marquez with Benitez and Locche making him look silly to the point of it being cruel, rather than being in close fights. Maybe I'm being harsh, dunno tbh.
