Of course... Too small guys and the decent sized guys are mediocre. Foreman beats all them and marciano included. The guys that could give him a few problems would be walcott but his chin was too weak to last long with foreman and charles was too fragile and small for george the samething with conn.

 

I see it similarly with Walcott being the only real threat.

 

If Foreman could put ali against the ropes then he would have no problem cutting the ring vs walcott.the difference is that ali had a legendary chin and huge capacity to recover.walcott had crappy chin and the idea of George failing every shot is laughable.foreman by ko

I don't see Walcott lasting any longer than the rest tbh. Big George walks through all of them. The power is too much for the little guys, and could be a walk in the park for him !

 

Ali also has weight and strength over Walcott. Walcott isn't tieing George up like Ali could to avoid damage

Stopped 6 times in71 fights twice by Marciano once by Louis ,once by Simon,once by Fox,once by Ettore.
You don't go 13 rds with Marciano, 26 with Louis, the distance twice with Sheppard, and the route with Ray x3, Gomez etc if your chin is crappy.

H2H Foreman would likely be favoured over all. JJW gives him the closest call probably, but to accomplish the feat of successfully defending the title over a 12 year period (with a 4 year gap) like Louis did takes a lot of consistency. George proved post-Ali he could be emotionally flaky (Ali emotionally dishevelled him utterly for years after imo), so who's to say that George would have possessed the emotional discipline to hold it together for that long?

Walcott fought Louis the first time 10 years into Joe's reign. If Foreman was a similar age to the Louis who fought JJW in Dec '47 that makes him 33-34.

The more I think about it, the more I think that JJW was capable of outfoxing a Foreman 10 years older than the one who smashed Smokin' Joe.

So, in answer to the OP's question, no, I don't think George makes it & it's most likely JJW who takes him.

There's a whole lot of supposition in the whole question though...
