Have you ever seen a turnaround quite like the perception of BJS after one fight?

I watched every GG fight in recent years. He has decent footwork. Decent does not mean poor. His footwork might sometimes look better over fighters that are come forward fighters. Can you give me an example of a fight where he has shown "excellent" footwork. PS I consider guys like Floyd, Loma, Lara, Rigo, Pac as having excellent footwork. He is nowhere near that level. BJS has very good feet and I wouldnt consider Groves feet to be on his level. So Id say he has decent footwork. Which might be enough, we will see.

Although I am arguing with a Eubank fanboy so there is no point!

 

Another factor : I think the prospect of Golovkin-Alvarez 2 is a lot less interesting than the original fight last year. People want to see it and it will do well, and there will be a lot of partisan support again for both fighters. But some of the "Big Drama" will be missing in the build up and expectations. And whatever happens the division has to move on afterwards.
For that reason, the realization for some that Billy Joe Saunders is actually very good is something to build a buzz around for the near future.
Anti-Golovkins and anti-Canelos alike will be looking to BJS as a kind of back-up plan.

 

It's easy to say **** AFTER.
Lemeiux is a good fighter.. He was a top 5 middleweight before the fight, former world champion, Huge puncher - one of the top P4P punchers in the sport. The bookies had it even they were both 11/10, probably in Canada Lemeiux was the favourite. It's just Saunders stylistically was all wrong for Lemieux! Best away performance of a Uk fighter since Fury-Wlad! Very good win.

yeah the hype now is unbelievable now for BJS, yes he did a great job but on a limited opponent now i hear people saying he would give GGG and saul Alvarez massive problems and he would beat the likes of jacobs..... cmon everyone im British and like to support my own but even i know he hasn't got a chance against GGG and saul Alvarez and jacobs would either knock him out or outpoint him it would really be up to him and i still think chris eubank JR would win a rematch because he now knows what he needs to do against him and start early

 

I fancy Jacobs and GGG to beat him but like him vs Alvarez.

I think he’d beat “young Christopher” as well, provided he was the n good shape of course.
