According to the BBC an announcement is expected within the next 24hrs.

...so these 2 are getting it on and still the Windmill Man won't fight a top 10 (or is that top 20) fighter.

Wilder will just wait it out, chat **** and let AJ take the challenges. He will know as while he has a belt and aj keeps winning the money in the fight grows.

Sad excuse for a belt holder really and beating Ortiz won’t do much to change that.

Reuniting the belts Wlad collected that Fury so carelessly shattered again!
To be fair, I do have Ortiz as my #5 at the moment, and most publications do (not the TBRB though). So that means he's fighting his very first top contender in his 40th fight already.

Like many people, I'll believe that when I see it...Wilder has a history of almost fighting top 10 boxers!

Man. Joshua is awesome in that regard. A weak division but he is going after the biggest fights.
Fair to say that IF Fury comes back, we will most definitely see a fight between the two.

Hes got a much better chance than the oddsmakers are saying. AJ could gas and get stopped late if Parker has a cast iron chin and can keep up a steady stream of punches and action.

    People always say this.

Bookmakers have odds for a reason, they make loads of money, hence why most of the time they are correct. They are not biased with fanboyism.

It looks like being a great start to 2018 for HW boxing.

Wilder is stepping up to fight his first top 5/10 contender in his 40th fight

Parker and AJ in a unification fight

Tyson Fury making his comeback to be back in the mix in 2019

Then we have Uysk and the CWs coming up to HW....

Plus Dubois and other HW contenders maturing and starting to fight at gatekeeper level soon

I don't think it will be announced today but yeah it's basically a done deal.

Parker is flying to the London right now for the announcement and media duties.

Yeah Joshua just wants the best out there so far. I think Wlad came looking for him but he accepted and conquered. He'd fight Fury, Wilder, Povetkin and even Dubois. Im not saying he'd win all those fights but Joshuas willing to find out. Hes a good champ.

It’s good that he says he willing to fight them all but how about coming out of his comfort zone and fight outside the uk once in a while?

Both Hearn and Higgins said that there are still a few issues needed to be resolved and it's likely that the fight will be announced next week.
