2018 feels like a much better start for matchroom clearly hearn needs to step it up.to fend off warrens resurgence I think whyte Browne is the perfect fight for whyte and will be an entertaining build up
Whyte UD for me. The only hope Browne has got is to knock Whyte out. Browne's competition has been poor, and whilst he showed heart against Chagaev, lets be honest he was being outboxed badly by a faded, 6ft, nearly 40 year old until the knock out.
Im not sure why it has to be a completion between Matchroom and warren We are now (the yanks wont like this ) the world hub for boxing The UK is becoming the boxing capital of the world They dont need to fight for business There is more than enough now
whyte is useless and going nowhere. limited ability and total lack of effort. browne may like to wear makeup but he is a bit of a hard case who likes fighting, can box ok and hits hard. yeah, hes a bit slow, but whyte is nothing special and will most likely get caught and starched.
in any walk of life, you want your business to be more popular and successful then your rivals, of course they're in competition (although its not much competition)
I have to say I expected a lot more now he is with Mark Tibbs but sadly not much has changed yet This was also a real chance for Tibbs to cement his legacy as a world level trainer
tuff one to call. Whyte is a bit fresher probably the better boxer if he tightens his style up and stops throwing looping right hands so mich but he's not much of a puncher (for a modern heavy), Browne is post card slow but has decent power. Kinda hoping Browne stops him really as Whyte is one of these fighters living of stunning the now champion - he really isn't all that and had to go to war and get a lucky decision v del boy.
for a while now hes been considered a prospect. but at some point he stopped being a prospect and found his level. he doesnt seem to have the right attitude and doesnt seem to put much effort in. hes ok but limited, slow, easy to hit, add to that very poorly conditioned. hes probably earned some ok purses so far which wont have helped his motivation, if he can make decent money whilst not even trying. he just hasnt improved anything since he set out.
If Whyte turns up in the condition he was in against Chisora then he'll get put on his arse here. For a young guy his conditioning is terrible and he doesn't pack as big a punch as he thinks.
I just don't get what people see in Browne, against Chagaev he looked awful. Technically he is horrendous. The only two things he seems to have are heart, and a punch. Obviously those are two great traits for any boxer, but he needs more than JUST that. Whyte is by no means a world beater himself, but I think he has enough about him to beat Browne on points in this. He just needs to be diciplined and not let Browne suck him into a war.
Unless Whyte improves dramatically in this fight and shows what quite a few people believe he has then Browne wins in my opinion. Whyte has looked bang average for a long time and we get the same quotes after every fight about how he is much better than what he produced. It is going to catch up with him, you can't keep putting in those sort of average to poor and luck lustre performances and keep winning if you're being stepped up and Browne is a step up from the likes of Dave Allen and a shot to pieces Helenius. Browne isn't exactly great himself but he is tough, can punch and will come to win and that's dangerous for Whyte with the way he has been performing.
Wilder is afraid of Whyte for some reason.......................will not fight him at any price..............
