I work for an online bookies and just got the trader price for Joshua Parker. Joshua 1/25 on and Parker 8/1. At that price I will back Parker. I'd have Joshua maybe 1/3 and Parker 3-4/1. Who wins? I think Parker will be underestimated going into the fight - Obviously Joshua won't move anywhere near as much as Hughie did and Parker could catch AJ. I imagine Joshua will be working on his conditioning based on Takam performance. I think there's more chance than ever of the Matchroom cash cow losing. Credit for taking the fights though.
Parker at 8s is not a bad price as he's a lively outsider. Might have a little on that, and maybe a saver on Joshua in rd 4-6.
Joshua is the hardest hitting, best defense , best combination puncher and has the best jab. That should sum the answer up for you. Who do you thinks going to win this fight?
8-1? I like those odds for Parker. To me this is more like a 4-1 fight, meaning Parker's chances to upset are about 25%
You don't think Parker might represent value at 8-1? What chance do you give him % wise? You should post a breakdown on this fight like the one for AJ/Wlad. Obviously Joshua's advantages of fighting in UK and being the big money house fighter are being considered alongside AJ's perceived edge ability wise, but despite not being wowed by Parker I think he may be underestimated at that price.
Honestly he has like a 10% chance. This is going to be Joshua's break out fight. I only give Parker even that BC Joshua is still playing around with his weight. After this fight keep tabs on everyone's post BC Parkers about to be labeled a huge hype job from the same guys saying its going to be a close fight. There's nothing close about this fight.... I do like this fight .it will be explosive while it lasts and that's more up too Joshua who's showed he is capable of taking his foot off the gas and fight in spurts. I think any Joshua fight could be 20 to 1. The only fight he's literally lost any rounds in was 2 in the Whyte fight and he really didn't lose any rounds in his last one. The Klitchko fight he lost 5 rounds . Joshua has went about 66 rounds only dropping around 7 and that includes Klitchko in that equation. Parker has well over a dozen rounds lost to guys no where near Joshua. Parker is no Klitchko and I have no idea really what he could do but hope Joshua punches himself out which is never a good thing to rely on. Lol I'll make a break down when it gets actually signed and see some footage in gyms. Not that I need too. This ones certain doom for Parker. I actually did a break down here.
Parker is a lot better than people give him credit for, even though I think AJ is the man at the moment Parker is a very dangerous opponent. This fight is FOTY fight since both have a habit of brawling
I don't think Parker carries enough power at the top-level to damage AJ enough to stop him. His chance of beating AJ is trying to make him gas and take him deep in the late rounds. Then again Parker's tank is not great either, hence why AJ is a big favourite. As Whyte said: "You need power to beat Joshua".
I have heard that Joshua is taking Parker lightly, he is taking not taking him seriously...................Parker is a better fighter than we believe, at least I have a feeling that is true, if his chin is like Tua's, Joshua will be in for a long night...............................I give Parker a chance, but nobody really knows how good he is. Parker has fought better opponents than Wilder and takes chances................we might be in for a surprise, but Joshua's personal referee will stop the fight early if needed as we all saw in Joshua's last fight...............both are better than Widler.............
