    Bowe would have rearranged him. He was the full package at that point and Lewis was not.

    Lewis would have smashed him.

    We all saw Bowe drop the belt into the trash rather than fight Lewis.

    We saw Bowe walk up to Lewis to try and intimidate him and instead ran off tail tucked in.

    Bowe may have had some skills but sometimes that's not enough when you KNOW that you will lose.

    At that time Bowe would have won most likely by knockout. He was a finished product. Lewis is the greater fighter because be improved later with Manny Steward.
    That how it was. Eddie Futch brought Bowe right on time

    It would have been a war with the more resilent Bowe landing a fight ending right hand over the perilously low held hands of Lewis around the 7th round.
