Parker will likely land as he has the heart to get close. Mr Humble is 1/16 favourite for this. Parker has to be worth a punt.

Although, with so much money riding on Joshua/Wiler/Fury one wonders what outcome will be allowed... Howard Foster perhaps?

    16/1 for AJ?
    Those odds will narrow significantly.
I expect closer to 5-1 on fight night

Joshua's chin will be tested and Parker will have the stamina and heart to stay on him. He will finish the job unlike WK who followed big bro advice.

This is going to get interesting. I was reading about Joseph Parker saying hi sole ambition is to get after Joshua and test his glass jaw. Hes not coming to box I don't think. He's coming to drop bombs. This is going to be a huge test for Joshua, to have someone relatively big, fast, and powerful... trying to take your head off. It could be very dangerous for Joshua.

UK fighters will always have misrepresentation with their odds.

Joshua is rightly a favourite so the bookies expect him to win, the problem is a disproportionate amount of UK punters will back Joshua which means the odds have to skew to reflect that.

In reality this fight is about 60/40 but if the odds were that close the bookies would get robbed blind by the gamblers.

Can't see what Parker can do here. With that short reach he's gonna have to walk through huge shots to get inside and land his own, just getting past the jab will be a problem. This should be a routine KO win for Joshua.

Respect to J Parker being willing to travel and box on the tough British HW scene.
There are several HWs that I dont think would be top 10 rated if they were based in the UK.
I expect there are many HWs that would not be willing to travel to the UK and face a top British HW even if it were for good money.
I expect Joshua to clearly beat Parker but...
    Big respect to Joseph Parker.

    odds are generous on parker

the bookies have done this to take some money on the fight as no one can bet on joshua with those odds it would be maddness to place a bet for joshua to win
£100 bet on joshua and he wins and you get £104 back

the same £100 on parker win and you get £ 900 back

obviously joshua is favourite /he has home advantage/ is taller/hits harder / is more clinical winning rounds/

but parker might have a granite chin and joshua wont be able to put him off.
if thats the case joshua is going to be taken into a long tough fight where his stamina problems come into play and parker will start landing with his quick flurries and win the fight by ko or points.

i would have it that parker has a 30% chance so somewhere like 3 to 1 would be more realistic.

proffesional betters and bookie punters who bet on any sport which is not me and have a knowledge of boxing would only ever bet on parker. which will bring his odds more into line as where they deserve to be on merit

i would guess that that in nz parkers odds in there bookies you are not going to get anything more than 4 to 1 for him to win maybe less.

It makes for generous odds for a dabble on Parker.

    An insult to who?

Any fan of Parker who believes he will win has a chance of making some great money.

Odds are not the odds of success, they're the odds the bookies are willing to give to guarantee a profit.
