an immediate rematch. And Gavril gave Benavidez his toughest fight. That is respect. You do the rematch, and **** a business decision. If Benavidez walked away from a split decision and moved on I would've shitted on him. He's giving Gavril the rematch. That's what champions do. Meanwhile Loma's fans are saying Loma "would've" beat Salido. Mofo I don't know that lol... I have to see it to believe it. Hopefully Loma gives Salido what he wants and rematches him since Salido has unretired.
Lomachenko takes the Salido fight and it suddenly becomes a cherry pick, he passes on it or refuses to give in after Salido prices himself out and he's "ducking". Can't win with these kind of pointless critics.
how can you understand this but defend wilder for not engaging in the toughest fights at all? double standards
OP is crapping on Salido here with this logic, not Loma LMAO Since when could the losing fighter give a rematch??
The reality is, the first was a competitive fight that 99% of people had Benavidez winning, not every close fight warrants a rematch. I'm not that interested in this fight tbh.
The numbers I saw quoted were something like $720K if memory serves, which I think is reasonable. I get why he'd want more of course. That W over Loma is a valuable commodity. At least they tried to make it instead of swerving it completely I guess, shame it isn't happening.
