What do you think of him? Who wins between him and Chamberlain?

I think he's garbage, and he has a glass jaw.

I cant wait for this fight..personally i rate both boxers and i think even the looser of this can still go on to big things.

Ive got Chamberlain winning but wouldnt be suprised if it went either way.

I know this isn’t a popular opinion but I’m not really sold on either of them if i’m honest, not yet anyway. Credit to them though for risking their zeros. Chamberlain is the better boxer, but if people don’t respect your power in that division, they’ll keep coming forward. Okolie is a strong lad with long arms but he’s very green and one dimensional. He is going to walk onto a big shot soon, but I don’t think Chamberlain will be administering it.

There seems to be quite a bit of disdain for Okollie from what I gather.

He never had that much amateur experience before the Olympics but done well in Rio.

He clearly has ko power and seems likely to have a fragile chin.

Either way he will be good for British boxing, may end up like an Enzo Macarrinelli or Amir Khan type guy. He will bring competition, opinion and hopefully drama.

Don't rate either, amazed that this is a main event.

Some people bizzarely overrate Chamberlain.. i don't see anything there, doesn't look good enough to get past domestic level.

Okolie has too many flaws but he has power and that should be the deciding factor in this fight.

Big things as in what. Commonwealth and British titles?
Anything more than that I really don't see it. Cruiserweight is full of beasts at the top.

Chamberlain has sparred with Wilder (never knocked down), Usyk and Masternak. From what I've heard he has done really well in sparring with Usyk and he has now sparred him twice, having previously spent time in his camp in Ukraine.

If Chamberlain was no good Usyk would not be sparring him.

True! You shouldn't let Boxing forums change you. all these trolls talking about domestic level and british level like its a negative thing

I don't rate them much tbh. Ive seen probably all of Okolies fights so far and plenty of his amateur fights but I've only seen Chamberlain twice maybe I should watch more of him. I think Okolie should KO him, and they'll both probably be in some good future fights with the likes of Askin and Simmons, I think thats their level. Okolie's got that power but dodgy defence and chin that'll make for some exciting fights I reckon.

David Price looks great in sparring and can do 12 rounds easily....

The main weaknesses sparring doesnt pick up is poor stamina and poor punch resistance.

It also doesnt show what a fighter is capable in top gear or under pressure.

On topic I am backing Chamberlain.

I haven't seen enough of chamberlain to judge him really, but going off boxrec I'm guessing he lacks a bit of power? I have seen plenty of okolie and think he' awful, gets caught clean far to easy off no hopers. Chamberlain is quite a big underdog with the bookies 6/4 ish... thinking of lumping on him... thoughts?

I think 90% of the forum are backing Chamberlain.

I fancy Okolie via tko in the 6th.
