If there was ever one last throw of the dice, this is it.

If it doesn't end well, please hang them up.

    Good luck Pricey

I shudder at the thought of Price pushing out some of his feathery jabs to try and slow Povetkin down. I hope he rolls the dice the first few rounds and goes for it.

Yeah hopefully he just gives it a real go. Get that big jab working effectively and keep Povetkin at distance and slam they right hands in.

Regardless of his past he has the tools to do the job, sadly his mental state is very worrying though.

    Big jab?

    Price's Jab is pathetic.

This is a major problem for Price. He's shown a good jab in past but in more recent times it's been thrown without power or conviction a bit like his right hands.

I wanted him to have a few fights in quick succession gradually stepping up in quality to British level then step up once his confidence was better. This is what he said the plan was. I suppose he can't knock this fight back if it's good money but it is a huge risk. If he gets stopped badly again people will say he needs to retire and promoters may not touch him. If he loses on points or with a repsectable stoppage I would say at this stage he can still revert to the original plan as one more loss against someone like Povetkin wouldn't set him back much.

Price is going to win anyway. Ko round 1... kaboom.

This fight certainly makes the Joshua show more interesting. Especially considering the usual Joshua undercards.

its been confirmed that price has said yes but i'll be amazed if povetkin says yes
warren will offer povetkin peanuts to fight on an undercard when he can headline a show in Russia or Germany and earn millions

Yes 90% of the time it is pathetic. However if he used it properly to its full potential it could be a key weapon. Even at this stage surely it is something that can be worked on.

Let's be real, what we'll get is "We offered him the fight Koogs, but Povetkin didn't want any part of Price. He heard the sparring stories and changed his mind"

AJ. Be Eddie Hearn’s dream. Probably get him to take 10% at Anfield or something and a highlight KO for AJ.

I’m thinking this is what he’s hoping for Povetkin. A highlight reel KO and he sells himself for the AJ match then.

If you had to choose would you favor Povetkin over Joseph Parker to beat AJ
