I'm on board the pork chop express!

I think Browne has the superior boxing skills and enough power to KO Whyte. Whyte is far too easy to hit as well, he's gonna get chin checked at some point.

It's long been established that Browne himself is, despite his record, a pretty average hitter. I've been following the dude since before he crossed the ocean six years ago, when they were hyping up a showdown with fellow domestically hyped unbeaten can-crusher Richard Towers (whom Browne would finally meet the following year, 7 fights later) and most observers agreed during this period that he wasn't exactly the Down Under's answer to Earnie Shavers.

Now, if people have decided to jump back on his bandwagon as some monstrous KO artist just because he stopped a severely denigrated, shot-to-pieces Chagaev, that just speaks to how fickle most boxing fans are more than it does to Browne having proven himself deserving of a reputation. He still didn't manage to drop a fat, ancient Toney once in 12 rounds (and before you cite Toney's storied defense or ATG chin, realize that by this point already been seconds away from being KTFO by Matthew freaking Greer a few years earlier) nor did he drop Rudenko, a relatively tiny heavyweight compared to Browne and somebody that, while his chin is proven (didn't taste canvas against Povetkin either) is very easy to hit. In fact you won't find one stoppage on Browne's record that isn't either a retirement, injury, or versus someone that is either badly faded entity or a never-was.

I never said Chisora was a killer. I agree with your assessment that he possesses a fairly average punch (he's a physically strong guy but throws clubbing shots, nothing with much snap on it, what you'd call heavy-handed arm-punches). We diverge where you think Browne doesn't.

i dont think browne hits with much snap or speed, i think he is about 3stone heavier and has alot more weight behind his punches than delboy, i think he could take alot of people out if they stand there infront of him, which whyte will do trying to load his own uppercut.

He's brawnier yes but as someone pointed out earlier Chisora is quite a bit faster. (not that he's all that fast himself, I just mean compared to Big Daddy)

with delboys style, he wants to do as much damage as fast as he can when he gets close to his opponent and he did have whyte's legs going a few times, big daddy will try to pick his punches and the more accurate punches are more devasting. however he wont be able to land as much.

This should turn out to be a really good scrap, both are crude and durable and I think have fairly similar punch power, although I’m giving brown the slight edge because I don’t think whyte hits as hard since the shoulder op but at the same time whyte has youth on his side.

I think both will get rocked and wobbly at times and we may even see both touch the canvas.

This is a hard fight for both so fair play to both men

So, gentlemen's agreement - if Browne does put (and preferably keep) Whyte down, I'll concede he's more powerful than Chisora, but if they have a prolonged brawl and Whyte is never hurt, will you concede with the common-opponent h2h evidence that Chisora does?

A lot of haters and non believers in the Feral Warthog Of New South Wales are gonna be proved wrong, bitterly and violently wrong on the 24th of March.:deal:

Big Daddy is more skilled, and yes, clearly hits far harder than both Whyte and Chisora who are borderline featherfists. He's going to flatten Whyte viciously, and possibly out cold.

Fine he didn't KO Rudenko, neither did Povetkin, so?

And poor James Toney, he could have gotten him out of there whenever he wanted, not only was it clear watching the match Browne was taking mercy on James, but he literally said so after the match in an interview. Lucas is a good guy like that, but there'll be no more Mr. Nice Guy with that vomit Whyte.
