    Over on the Scene.

Old man and registered heart patient Tony Thompson took Price's punches in 10 Oz gloves and got back up.

The plumber drilled Joshua face first to the mat wearing pillows on his fists.

He’s bragging that his best win was over a novice in a sparring session, what a career he’s had.

Price also beat Tyson Fury in the amateurs.....

I don't like these 'brag comments' from absolute failures though.

Price had all the tools and backing to be as much as a success as Fury and Joshua.....but he wasn't professional enough when stepping into the professional game.

If you actually ever hear any britsh boxers talking about sparring, they will all talk about Price, because of how dominant he was in the amateurs.

Sounds like he’s hinting that he doesn’t rate aj’s chin.

If you'd actually listened to that podcast instead of quoting a small section of it with no context then that would help.

He was asked about it because it was mentioned in the Joshua-Parker press conference, he wasn't bragging. He also said that Joshua was a novice and Price was in sparring for his first 12 round fight.

Sparring is meaningless, Joshua is heavyweight number 1 until someone beats him or Fury makes a proper comeback, get over it.

He was bragging....Going in to as much detail as he could remember.

Anyone not trying to explain it just for publicity would've just said yes it happened, and would also admit that it is pointless as his record in the professional ranks is a disgrace.

    Lol this.

Look at the detail he goes into. He mentions exactly which punches he landed. Also states that he doesn't knock many out in sparring which is a clear jab at AJ's durability.

If someone asks me if I slept with a certain woman and I then go into specific details about my performance, the time I lasted and the woman's orgasms, it would be a case of me bragging - even though I was asked a question.

Yeah but Joshua had probably just got out of a Police cell, or been chased for 10 mile by a rival firm and then got in the ring against Pricey..I cant believe he used the former as an excuse lol

Price went into that spar immediately after a two-hour boiler repair job in Birkenhead and all he'd had to eat and drink were some Jaffa cakes and a couple builder's teas.

But you don't see him making any excuses.

I think most of us agree that his chin is not too clever but i think he has taken enough big shots to be wobbled and put down and he has won those fights. He aint no glass jawed fraud. He just doesnt have a good chin. And a young David Price hit very very hard.

On the contrary in the interview he said...

"I wondered: is he fragile? Then I heard he was stopped in the European Championships. But now, he's proving to be okay. He didn't go into a shell, and he isn't gun shy. He got rocked by Dillian Whyte and put down by Klitschko, but he can hold a shot."

Also said he only put out the story to try and create interest in a possible fight.

"I brought it up to generate interest for his team to say 'we will fight Price'. That was my ace in the pack, at the time.

I had held onto it until the time was right to let the cat out of the bag. Normally, sparring is just sparring. But when there's an opportunity at a world title on the line, I thought I'd get the information out there."

He didn't have his Gas Safe mate, he shouldn't of been anywhere near a boiler. Imagine the pressure he was under and he still performed !
