Some people say Douglas got a slow count when he got dropped by Tyson in the 8th round of their fight, while Tyson got a fast count.

Does it matter that much? Tyson wasn't looking good until he dropped Douglas. Really, other than that knockdown, Douglas dominated the fight.

Go and meticulously count both knock downs. Both counts are a fraction slow and basically identical.

I laughed the way Don King saw his meal-ticket going out the window and waited until after he lost to start screaming about a long count. Moreover, just to show how in bed with one another they were, the corrupt Sulaiman actually backed King and was going to somehow retroactively declare Douglas KO'd or possibly call it a NC and have Tyson retain his title. He backed off when the press and public were looking for a tree to hang a noose for him.

Douglas beat Tyson on February 11, 1990.

The real question is how close this fight was on all 3 scorecards up until the KO?

I've seen footage of this, it was a circus and criminal that they basically almost got away with it. Imagine the royal screw job of Douglas that would have constituted!
