I'm very fair to fighters. I understand that fighters take tune up fights, stay-busy fights, and soft touches here and there... But when your entire resume consists of sub par opposition, its a big turn off.

Canelo's list of top fighters consist of 1 small fighter, and that was FMJ.

Cotto, Lara, Trout, Kirkland, Golovkin are all fighters who weigh in in the high 160s or low to mid 170s. Hardly smaller opposition. That's not even mentioning fighters like Cintron, Mosley, Liam Smith, Angulo, who are on par with most of Saunders' opponents.

I don't know much about them, what I do know is that while they seem to be skilled, they haven't proven to be the goods. The other day I said they are on par with Lemieux, they may be more skilled, but skills is not the only thing that will win you fights.

Lemieux at least is more accomplished.

    I'm very happy with this.

I just want Billy to remain active and sharp.

It's not that bad but it is a little underwhelming.

I'm not surprised though, BJS just wants to tick over for now, take no big risks and try and get a huge unification fight the winner of Golovkin Vs Canelo.

    It makes sense.

He's on such a high at the moment training with Dominic Ingle and Kell, I think we'll see him in great shape.

    He looks revitalised.

If this fight had been made a year ago, I'd have been much more concerned.

But at least he's out again soon.

Canelo and GG aren't going to be available until around August/September.

What are you using to gauge that they are MILES ahead of Lemieux?

Its hilarious how DL was this monster top MW right before and immediately after GGG, but now that he's been exposed, yet again, he is MILES below two regional fighters. LOL Pathetic.

    I agree.

A guy like Danny Jacobs would be a ridiculous risk to take at this stage.

GG will be gunning for him if he beats Canelo.

    He wants that last belt.

Of course he does... Of course. Its unfortunate for GGG that Canelo will be more acclimated to MW and should perform better and win the rematch.

But he's fighting Groves up at a higher weight.

That's a hard fight. But from what I've seen, I think he's a better fighter than Lemiuex.

Terrible.. Unfotunate for boxing fans that it seems there only a small handful of fighters like Canelo who take on all top comers regardless of high/risk reward.

Who the heck said Lemieux was a monster? This is the typical drama queen crap you do here. Find a poster who says something outrageous, and then you act as if that's the consensus from all the fans, and use it as much as you can.

Lets not forget who YOU are, the same one who said Beefy Smith would be 3G's top opponent if they fought.

What brought you to that conclusion Isal? Can you at least admit you only said it because you worship Canelo? Get some balls if you can't muster...

Andy Lee and Eubank are better than Lemiuex.
