"The Siberian Rocky" - really can't think of a better description of Provodnikov. That type of guy that shows up to lead the war, not to play chess on the ring. I agree with @PaddyGarcia , the last time I saw him fighting, he looked somehow different. Maybe all the damage that he took is affecting him.

I hope he comes back and walks another confused MMA fighter like a dog. Provodnikov was a stallion. That style though...... Like he spent an entire career setting up a final showdown with dementia or CTE. I hope he doesn't come down with any degenerative neurological disease, seriously hope he doesn't, but man, "head first with zero ****s given" isn't the most conducive to health.

Provo has been hanging @ Wild Card training with Freddie Roach & co. since the end of the first week of January, flying over just a day or two after celebrating his wife Natalia's birthday @ Engel's Coffee+Waffles in Ekaterinburg.

(some hardcore social media sleuthing going on here  All in the name of the scoop...)

He was the FOTY winner in the best year of boxing this decade. Shout out to Tim Bradley for fighting like a fool, this fight was hype in a year of great fights.

Crazy that Provodnikov has ultimately outlasted Bradley in the sport.

I love this fighter a lot. The way he fought, win or lose, has never disappointed me. He stepped forward to throw his punches all the time even if his face was full of blood. What a true warrior! I always think about the guy from Australia who fought like him.
However, I am worried about his health in the long run because he always blocks punches with his face.

Bradely was letting that Pacquiao win and those mentally challenged fans get to him. He was reading all of that garbage from the internet and letting key board warriors intimidate him with calls. Bradley had more left but he was mentally gone.

He beat Bradley, but was cheated! Bradley was never the same after that fight, Bradley was slurring his speech, almost retired after a long layoff!

Really like the guy, great stamina, keeps going forward and has a heart of a lion. Warrior spirit. Didnt look too great against Molina though. He has been in wars, I just hope when he is older, there wont be any bad health problems. That being said, if he continues fighting, I sure as hell will be rooting for him

Every time I watched him I would find myself asking: “what is this guy made of?”
