Which win did you find more impressive by Hopkins and Duran?

Hopkins fought with more skill against Tarver than Duran did against the fearsome Barkley because both Hopkins and Tarver were better than Barkley though I feel the year Hearns beat Andries at light heavy he may have KO`d Tarver, could have been an exciting fight. Duran`s knockdown of Barkley was more impressive than the knockdown scored by b-hop plus Duran moving up from lightweight originally and having a size and reach disadvantage means his win was really impressive, so altogether it`s a tough call but Duran was helped by the fact that Barkley was easier to hit than Tarver I feel.

Duran. A light weight veteran of 60+ fights going up against a huge middleweight is more impressive.

Duran beating Barkley is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen.

Tarver is a much better opponent than Barkley

I Believe the Duran victory was. Esp considering Duran's best fighting weight was at lightwieght, While neither Tarver or Barkley were special . Barkley seemed best suited to take advantage of his rough, physical style and back up,and wear down the naturally smaller and older man. Tarver on the other hand was tailor made for Hopkins and the way he fought. And also consider what Barkley was able to do twice to Hearns, and what happened what Hearns and Duran fought. Actually it was far more impressive what Duran accomplished.

    Duran over Barkley.

    Hopkins began at LHW.

He moved down to MW and then back up LHW to face Tarver.

Duran began at LW and moved all the way up to MW and got an amazing win.

Both very good, legacy-enhancing wins, but Duran's was more impressive.

Not sure, but I found both impressive and immensely entertaining. Hopkins use of the ropes and angles is near perfection to watch as he systematically broke Tarver down never losing focus.

Duran’s resilience and toughness against the naturally larger and stronger Barkley was yet another display of Duran’s sublime skills.

I guess I might lean towards Duran over Barkley...but both are great performances from great fighters

Was Hopkins beating Tarver that much of an upset in hindsight?

No, he was just easier to hit and Tarver used his jab better.

Hearns was faster against Duran at light middle and had a better reach against Roberto than he did v Barkley, I think that was part of the reason why Tommy more hittable at middle plus Duran had a better chin than Hearns he may have been smaller but his legs weren`t any thinner.

Duran was giving up more size and considering how active his prime was I think he had more ring miles on him than Bernard Hopkins did. I would say based on that Duran`s win was more impressive.
