Another night of controversy. Who do you think was the rightful winner? I personally though Fortuna edged it and the point deduction was BS.

Easter close, but an argument can be made for Fortuna by a point.

Easter's terrible. He landed nothing of note in this fight. Garcia will murder him!!

wouldnt call it a controversy, but i think Fortuna came with a little more craft. Easter didn;t rip the body as much as he could have.

Thought Fortuna was un-Fortuna-te not to get the decision and to have the deduction be the difference between a loss and a draw, but I can't feel too bad for him.

He left too many scoring shots on the table vs the house fighter, and he purposely quit trying to make weight prior to it.

I'm a bit disappointed in Easter. Seems like he mightve peaked as a poor man's Paul Williams. Life could be way easier for him with a better boxing IQ.

Fortuna close IMO but not a robbery. Unlucky to be deducted a point (no warning) but unprofessional not making weight so **** him.

Easter is no Paul Williams, not even a poor man’s version.

He makes every fight difficult for himself by not using his jab and failing to maintain proper distance.

Fortuna was cheated, plus the referee was on the take! Easter is owned by Haymon, Easter was the house fighter, so I knew the corrupt judges would give Easter the decision....................

I'm so sick of you newbs using "cheated" and "robbed" in close fights where it could have gone either way. Get a damn clue already.

Hell, even the commentators had Fortuna winning.....................read the Judd Berstein letter if you think boxing is not corrupt! FBI investigations, etc.

Learn how to score a fight for yourself and not be influenced by outside sources.

I have been scoring fights for many years.................I agreed with the commentators and usually agree with Harold Lederman, but never Byrd................she is a fraud.............I have two eyes and can see.................I have scored PKA years ago.....................so, you can disagree with the vast majority of fight fans, the crowd booed like hell, they knew who won the fight.................again, read Judd Berstein's letter...............perhaps Haymon owns you? Fights have been scored by promoters, the big promoter gets the decision.........................such as Oscar in the Golovkin/El Pollo fight.............Paulie is also a good judge, he had Golovkin beating El Pollo 9 rounds to 3, Harold had it 8 rounds to 4, I had it 8 rounds to 4 and have no problem with 9 - 3 Golovkin, Nacho Beristain had the fight for Golovkin, then there was Lewis/Holyfield fight, Don King owned Holyfield, it was called a draw, or Void/Castillo fight, a rematch was ordered...............it was that bad! Ad infinitum.......even Bob Bennett (Nevada Boxing commissioner) agree about Byrd, he told me that on the phone!

Felt Easter got lucky the decision went his way but it was a close fight. I had it the other way but he was the champion and probably received the benefit of the doubt. Easter has a lot of flaws but is a good fighter. He should avoid Linares, Mikey and Loma....but he’s not that type of fighter. He believes in his abilities and most likely will seek those guys out.
