what boxers have an aesthetic fighting style?

I can appreciate Fury, Joshua and Wilder for different reasons....

Admittedly, Wilder is more beautiful from a comedy perspective.

 

If you mean graceful, then Julio Cesar Chavez is the first that comes to mind.

Prime Ali was also a beautiful fighter.

As far as aesthetic fighting styles go, recent Jorge Linares, Vasyl Lomachenko, Terence Crawford, Alexis Arguello and Pernell Whitaker are five which stand out for me, and whom I really enjoy. The antithesis of those would probably be Amnat Ruenroeng, Andrew Golota, John Ruiz, Shawn Porter and Chuck Wepner.

Postscript: Judging from the footage I've seen of him, prime Sugar Ray Robinson would appear to be the epitome of aesthetic and stylistic smoothness. What one wouldn't give to be able to build a time machine and travel back in time to watch him live and at the absolute height of his pugilistic powers...

 

JoffJoff is right, this is just asking me who I like to watch the most.

Personally I'm a big fan of seems to be the least liked style on this forum. Classic KO artist, sword and shield, no ****ing about.

Wilder's already been made fun of, he's also already one of my all time favs stylistically.

Marciano would be my absolute favorite, the pace, his play of line of sight, his use of posture, his punch structure, inhuman power, and his being too stubborn to give up offensive position for defensive measures.

Foreman's probably my second, and a lot for people sleep on how George is like Marciano because George is bigger, but if you stop thinking about how they look when they move and you think about the theory behind them they share a lot more than being heavy hitters. Like with Marciano I'm very Big George's posture, line of sight, and offense first game.

While most don't see any Marciano or Foreman in Wilder, I appreciate the posturing he does. Wilder gets guys into position just by stepping to them, he doesn't even have to punch sometimes he just scared them into it. That's Foreman as ****. I appreciate his line of sight game. Everyone makes fun of the windmills but watch the punch that did the dropping. The windmills are distraction just like Marciano. Finally Wilder gets ragged for being behind on points before his KOs come but I appreciate him putting offense first and forcing the KO. It's not easy to do, none of the greats have done it without getting touched, and Wilder's not been in trouble yet. That's both Marciano and Foreman.

You might wanna stay away from the forums for now and focus on your upcoming fight with King Kong Ortiz.

 

If you mean a fan friendly, exciting style that's fun to watch then some guys have four or five fight of the year awards. I'm talking about Jack Dempsey, Joe Louis, Tony Zale, Rocky Marciano, Carmen Basilio, Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, George Foreman, Matthew Saad Muhammad, Bobby Chacon, Evander Holyfield, Arturo Gatti, etc. I'd add Orlando Salido, Erik Morales, Manny Pacquiao, Danny Lopez, Ray Mancini, Johnny Saxton, Rocky Graziano, Bert Cooper, and Israel Vazquez to that list as well. If we were making a list of the most entertaining fighters ever then they'd be at the top.

If you mean highly skilled and slick, that's a different list.

 

Currently, Jorge Linares is a joy to watch.

If you meant a fighter that possessed a graceful movement, I will go with Salvador Sanchez, Robinson, Leonard, floyd Mayweather, lomachenko, JCC, MAB, finito Lopez, Roy jones Jr, Linares.
