Fury is 6" taller than Kownacki. WTF are you talking about.

So you're allowed to be 'fat' and 'out of shape' just because you're taller?

I'd rather have 30 pounds of extra fat than 30 pounds of extra muscle.

Just face facts, the guy was so much of a 'disgrace', his cardio was better than a guy 'in shape'.

I was arguing with someone the other day on this subject. Marathon runners is a purely anaerobic exercise, and most of them follow a stricter diet than most sports. Then I think of another sport, which traverses long distances, and relies on a endurance based muscle. I would say a cyclist comes into that category. A moderate amount of resistance involved, but requiring a decent amount of cardio too. You can get big through matabolic stress, without mechanical tension, as long as the calories are in surplus.

If your standard for "in shape" is Arreola, Solis and Ruiz Jr then yeah he's in shape. He's easily at 25-30% body fat. If he was in shape he'd be 30lbs lighter.

This tub of lard would be a great match up for fat Tyson Fury. Two obese lazy HWs. Just what the boxing world needed.

He looked in much worse shape than he did in his previous fight, and he is not carrying that weight well.

The commentator said that when he was asked why he gained 20lbs he said he likes to eat alot, as he went home to Poland recently.

If he continues to neglect his diet to this extent, then he has reached his glass ceiling. You are looking at it now.

Yep and that's why I don't think he'll ever be more than a good gate keeper level fighter. Fact is his weight against Szplika was his lowest in over 7 years! He usually strolls in at 250-260lbs, the Kownacki we saw vs Kiladaze is the one we should expect 95% of the time.

Again, you're missing the huge difference between being fit and looking aesthetically pleasing.....

    Watch Fury against Wlad.....

Fury was 'fleshy' but fit enough to UD an ATG.

Fury looked like Hercules against Wlad in comparison to the squishy giant baby that was Kownacki last night.

Just keep changing the subject because many were proved wrong that Kownacki's shape was irrelevant last night.

Guy had better cardio than his opponent who looked more like 'hercules' than Fury did against Wlad.....

Proof is in the pudding......Kownacki clearly has no problem eating his and still getting an easy KO.

Who the **** has 30 pounds of extra muscle?
I mean in all seriousness, only one who seems to carry too much muscle is Joshua. And even he carries it around pretty well. I doubt he would become some super engine if he dropped 10 or 20 pounds.

Why can't people just admit they're wrong?

None of us know that the extra stone Kownacki was carrying had a negative effect.

Didn't prove me wrong I predicted a Kownacki KO even after he came in obese. Kiladze has a weak chin, KO'ed brutally with one punch at cruiser and Kownacki might be a butter ball but he can punch and he can pressure.

Doesn't change my mind though when he steps up he'll be found out just like Solis, Arreola, Stiverne etc. Unless you punch like George Foreman being that fat guarantees failure at the top level.
