Its because he knows Crawford is a great position right now to make history. He has possible fights against prime versions of Thurman, Porter, Spence and Garcia. If he can run through those guys without a loss and take into consideration being the first undisputed champ in a long time he becomes the man in the sport and likely this eras best.
