    Exactly.

Fighters just want to fight, but like you say its up to the promoter and manager to say not a chance, and it doesn't matter how much is on offer.

Most people on here are complaining Brook never fought anyone and are blaming him for it however the real reason was because everyone was avoiding him. He was trying to get the big fights but no-one was willing which is why he jumped at the first opportunity against GGG.
Yes Spence proved to be the best welterweight when he took the title but Brook was in the top 3 which in my eyes makes him an elite world class fighter.

Agree with lots of comments here - dont like boxers going on about retiring at the end of a year when they havent even got this one started. Combined with showings v ggg and spence it really calls into question Kell's desire and makes it hard to get behind him. At the end of the day he wants to be in ppv fights and have fans spend their money buying in - so this talk isn't good for him

Has anyone seen any news regarding rabchenko? Seems to be very low key. I've seen no current training footage and he's been completely cut from sky's pressees etc. Is hatton still in his corner. Also brook looked a shell in the presser interview. Didn't look very well. Heavily made up for the camera and just looked finished to me

Yes, Brook needs to make as much money as he can, then retire, but he really should take a couple easy fights to get back into fighting shape................

Come on mate, you’re slacking. You typed 5 lines without dropping a SOB reference or Wilder having his potential opponents spiked with PEDs.

I can't agree with the blaming of Hearn. I see this said a lot and it really isn't fair.

Hearn took Brook to a World Title and made him a shed load of money. That was and still is Hearns job.

The Golovkin fight was Brooks choice, Brook actually called GGG out way before it was offered to him, when the Khan fight fell through and Khan fought Canelo, Brook lost his mind and started saying he wanted Golovkin.

Eubank Jr couldn't find a pen and Hearn suggested it to Brook and Brook took it for a lot of money, Brook wasn't forced to fight Golovkin.

As for Spence, Hearn said after Golovkin on multiple occasions he wanted Brook to move to 154, he didn't want Brook to fight Spence but Brook didn't want to be seen as ducking him so insisted he take the fight.

Once again Hearn maximised his earnings and made him a lot of money.

Hearn is a promoter, it's his job to promote fights and earn his fighters money, Hearn is not managing all these fighters, he is not really an advisor, Hearn does his job and does it well, people can't blame him when fighters lose or get hurt.

Hearn can't take all the blame. I remember Hearn being adamant on many occasions that Brook should move up to 154, but that he wouldn't stand in Brook's way if he wanted to keep boiling down to 147, which he did.

Of course anyone who even walked past Brook in the street should share the blame for the GGG fight.

I feel partly responsible for not bombarding him on twitter asking what the **** is he doing...

Brook has to take the blame for the GGG fight, it was a unwinnable fight.

Nonsense as his fight prior to that was two weights higher so he could quite easily have said it's too hard to make welterweight and vacated belt and moved up. He should have as he was weight drained, could see he was the better fighter until he gassed.
