Came on excited at the sales, only to see 5 pages of Wilder talk.

    Get on subject guys
Especially as it will be redundant talk
after the re match next stop will be vegas

They're appearing in bunches on StubHub right away. The man sells incredibly but not to the extent that Hearn has you believe

Resellers buy all those tickets because he sells so well. They're not in the business of losing money.

A lot of events, if not all of them, end up with quite a few on StubHub. It's unavoidable. However the speed and amount of them from Matchroom shows that end up on there combined with the fact Matchroom have a partnership with StubHub rings alarm bells to me

It's shady as **** but until we legislate against it then the resale market will continue to milk fans of their money.

I've long thought we should have a system like ths Dutch in place wherein tickets can only be sold at 10% above their face value on these sites. I don't care if that kills their business because their business is currently ripping off the general public.

That'd be an excellent idea. And look, even at that levy they're still going to make enough to exist as a business.

Either than or just do what some other countries have done and ban the resale market. Anyone selling or buying tickets in said countries risk huge fines.

But this won't happen in the UK there seems to be no political desire in the UK to address the problem. Probably because many politicians are getting back hander tickets to events from the main companies in this industry. I used to work with one of the biggest ticket resellers in the UK and while the owner was a lovely guy he was dodgy as hell.

I don't know Farmy he does seem to be getting more popular in US. His numbers for the rematch for Stiverne were higher than for any other non PPV fight on Showtime last year. Ortiz fight could do 1 mill I think and if it does that would be amazing. Wilder is definitely building his brand and profiting from Joshua's rise to prominence in the division.

Also his social media following has increased dramatically since calling out Joshua constantly after the last few months, it's more than doubled.

Hearn has been saying for a long time this fight needs to be built up and it seems that's what is happening.

Not really, Parker lives and trains in Vegas anyway so I suppose it would suit everyone to have it there.

Yeah, I think Parker said himself that the Cojanu fight would be his last in NZ for a while, so if he does get the win against AJ, I'm pretty sure the Wilder fight would be in the US. Like you say, especially with him training in Vegas.

Unfortunately our current government had no desire to legislate against greed or the exploitation of its citizens. That slavery is now a big problem in the UK says it all really.
