To be honest he never was on that level even in his prime.

True but he's even more **** now. Waste of time fight and robbing someone worthy of a world title eliminator shot.

A lot of good talents have stay busy fights, and this is no exception. I don't see what the big fuss is.

I think the fuss is that as boxing fans we should expect more. I don’t like it when Joshua fights Molina, I don’t like it when Lomachenko fights Sosa and by the same token I also don’t like it when Davis fights Billy ****ing Dib. It’s a **** fight and no mistake, why should I care about watching Davis crush a guy everybody knows he will crush before the bell even rings?

Tank needs to fight Loma and prove himself. If he continues to duck this fight he will suffer greatly. He isn’t legit until he steps in the ring with Loma.

Dibb is 50 Cent's pal so this would be kind of like betting on horses together for Floyd and 50.

I still don't get it, Davis had a ton of trouble with that Salvadorean nobody he fought last time, missed weight, and has been off for a long time.

I really don't see Davis as a particularly good fighter to be honest. He could be someday, but he ain't now. He's never fighting at 130 again anyway so it makes no difference.

Can't really say it's bad for him to fight Dib if the IBF demands that for a eliminator.
Though let nobody claim this would be a good fight in any shape or form, as Dib was never anything special.

Don't think Davis would fight Loma any time soon though. He would get smoked.

    Why is this "disgusting"?

Its non-title match between 2 guys ranked in the top 3 of the sanctioning body that they're looking to win a title in.

Theres title fights happening this weekend that are worse than this

Dib is indeed IBF #3, when Davis is only #5. It makes this fight quite OK, especially if the IBF itself has demanded it.
