Joshua couldn't knock out clean takam and landed loads of clean shots

Povetkin laid him out cold!

 

They both hit harder than Povetkin. Fury floored Haymer and later stopped him, Pov couldn't even hurt that guy.

 

PEDvetkin knocked out Takam.

Povetkin didn't hurt Christian Hammer.

 

I'd say Povetkin just has better accuracy and shot placement, p4p he's more skilled than either, or he was, age is definitely getting on him. But raw power for raw power I doubt it.

Duhaupas literally got off the couch to fight Povetkin lol. Povetkin also has a far more aggressive style, he puts a real beat down on his opponents but he pays a price for it by getting hit more himself. For example while he did stop Takam in a more definitive manner he got hit a lot doing it. He took a number of flush shots from Takam, he was hit by shots that literally knocked him off balance, Joshua never had to take anything like that.

In regards to how Povetkin and Joshua both did vs Takam. Joshua floored Takam with a single left hook, Povetkin needed to batter Takam for 10 rounds to finally drop Takam and did so with a combination not a single shot. Joshua simply doesn't have the work rate to grind down opponents like Povetkin, but he clearly as superior one shot power based off of the Takam fight. So Povetkin brings more power in volume but Joshua brings more power in single shots.

And the Povetkin of the Duhaupas and Takam fights no longer exists, he's looked over the hill in recent performances.

This. Povetkin doesn't anywhere near the power Wilder or Joshua has, but his better shot placement and accuracy means he wastes less energy.

So does Evgeny Romanov possess greater single punch power than Anthony Joshua? Since Romanov dropped Denis Bakhtov thrice in just the first round and with fewer punches (some of them were weak and glancing looking blows). Whilst Joshua couldn't even drop Denis Bakhtov in 2 rounds after landing many power punches for a longer amount of time. Going by your logic and reasoning, it'd seem such would be the case.

And last time I checked, Povetkin put Takam to sleep with a left hook (his best punch). Whilst the best Joshua managed was only managing to drop Takam for a mere count of 2 with his most powerful punch. So how does Joshua dropping Takam once with his best punch for a count of 2 prove he is a more powerful puncher than Povetkin when Povetkin put a better version of Takam to sleep with his best punch?

Surely, if Joshua was more powerful, he would've been able to put Takam to sleep in the 10th round (or earlier rounds) with his best / most powerful punches like Povetkin did or perhaps even more brutally? Instead, Joshua landed multiple clean / flush power punches in the 10th round on Takam which Takam was able to still take whilst remaining standing. Whilst when Povetkin unloaded with his best punches on Takam in the same 10th round, Takam couldn't take / handle them and just snoozed off on the canvas. In other words, an older and a more faded version of Takam took Joshua's best punches better. Whereas a prime and a younger version of Takam couldn't take Povetkin's punches as well.

The 'aggressive style' seems like an excuse. How was Joshua less aggressive and Takam when he was unloading with full on combinations and power punches? Whereas Povetkin was barely landing any meaningful punches on Takam before the 5th round.
