Look back at the fight he had with Lartey. He was hurt bad and did not clinch like a pro. In addition fighters with movement always gave him issues as an amateur. Algieri, Brook, and Peterson aren't close to big punchers. Don't believe the hype. He has the looks of a good fighter but not a great.
He's fine, he's already been clipped with a few reasonable shots as a pro and looked unfazed. He may or may not be granite but you can't get to where he is now with the kind of style he brings to the ring packing China and still have a completely clean record
A mover could give him problems, but it would have to be a big mover. I can see him smashing through this older Lara who had a lot of problems with Angulo, a guy who also delivered hard pressure, and often out of the southpaw stance. The difference of course is that Spence is a lot better than Angulo, but will probably put forth a similar strategy of asserting himself until Lara falls. I think Spence would have problems at this point if he were to fight big movers like, Saunders, Jacobs, and Canelo. I feel like GGG is just too big a puncher at 160, but you never know. Either way, that fight will end in a KO.
Spence would be too small at 160 At 154 he will be in competitive fights vs the best. But even there he’s undersized vs Jermell Charlo
I forgot about Charlo. He would probably have to change his style vs Charlo. That would be a really tough match up. Charlo gets good work with Lara too, which has him prepared for southpaws.
I dont think he does. With his level of experience in the gym against so many world class opponents.... I think it would be an open secret at this point if he had chin issues, I also dont think he would have the exceptional confidence and sturdy style he has if he was packing 'glass'.
It's possible, but where's the evidence? I've not followed Spence's career closely, but has he hit the deck against inferior competition? Started to get wobbled periodically as he has stepped up the competition? Where are the signs of mandibular fragility?
He’s been to World champs and Olympics in the amateurs so bound to have had loads of fights and come up v power punchers.. I’ve not seen any evidence of a glass chin Chin has proven to be alright in pros and then there’s sparring where you never really know who’s telling the truth, but I’ve not heard of him having a shaky chin So what exactly makes you assume it’s a glass chin..
