In terms of body frame they're probably about the same, though. Canelo, too. All three are probably "natural" middleweights.

Why not? He either will successfully pull off that game plan (in which case a shutout is a perfectly reasonable expectation) or he won't (in which case the cards might be academic, if Hurd manages to pin him down and smash him up as some are predicting).

I don't think the 3 of them combined could bring those attributes.

Which one of them is relentless? PW was actually scared of Lara's power, not surprised actually considering he had just been brutally ktfo by a hardly stellar puncher. You can't be relentless if you're a *****.

I didn't say any one of them had all three. I said all three of them encompass those elements, and each has a combination of a few of them. How you extrapolate me thinking Canelo is taller than Lara from that I don't know.

12 rounds is a long time in a ring with Jarrett Hurd

Lara has gone 12 with more serious threats. Going 12 with Hurd has only been a problem thus far for one-dimensional jab stylist & glass cannon Harrison, and shopworn can't-resist-a-good-scrap Trout.

I'm busy with the ladyboys RBR for the rest of the night, so sure, feel free to tag in if you want. :sisi1

This is like a LOD handicap match vs. Hacksaw Duggan, though, I feel bad.

    Who?
PTSD Paul Williams, the guy scared to death of a left hand from a slick southpaw?

The oh so energetic Canelo, he looked tired walking to the ring.

    Trout?
    Vanes?

When you put it like that his resume isn't super hot?

Id say Trout is actually more of a stylistic resemblance to Lara than anyone Lara has fought compared to Hurd. I actually expect Lara to stand and trade a lot, I think he will be forced to.

There will be no excuses necessary after because they won't be accepted.

    Old Legs
    Washed up
    Too small
    Referee problems forget about them

Just come back to this thread and laugh at the time you wasted writing it up

Lara will beat Turd on points..................

They boycott Usyk Vs. Briedis and show a boring fight like Lara/Turd?! How sick and biased those idiots are!

Oh Farmy, the melodrama, it cuts me to the quick! The fact that a US TV outlet didn't happen to pick a fight up doesn't mean it was boycotted, you realize that, right?

Agreed, Hurd did not look good against Trout. There's a reason Lara picked him over WBC Charlo to unify.

Everyone acts like Hurd being the one that initially wanted Lara is "proof" that he "knows he can beat him". Well yeah, a young cat on the come-up trying to build his brand is going to call out the avoided guy in his division. Especially when it's win-win for Hurd. He either (best case scenario in this gamble for him) catches Lara slipping badly and can pass himself off as a beast for being the first to stop him, or he loses a decision and can just shrug and say "Hey, it's Lara, he makes everybody look bad and he's impossible to outpoint clearly" and it doesn't hurt his young budding legacy at all. And every cocky young rooster thinks he can beat everybody in the world. It takes getting in with a grizzled veteran to bring the reality crashing down that no, you've got your limits. Hurd almost had that a-ha moment with Trout, but this time the lesson will stick.
