how does anyone actually believe what he says? like that utter bull**** he spouted after the Stiverne fight, it doesn't make any sense yet people lap it up. it's ridiculous, at least hes finally having a meaningful fight i suppose
None of the HWs are scared of each other, their teams, that's another matter. I think both sides are probably apprehensive about the fight because there's risk on both sides. As much of a flailing amateur Wilder appears to be, he holds a significant speed advantage and could clip Joshua and get him out. Joshua on the other hand could just as easily outbox or bomb out Wilder. I hate when one side or the other throws up the fear angle, this isn't that type of business. No one is afraid of anyone else, if anything it's hubris and the guys (Wilder) feel they deserve more than they actually do.
A boxer genuinely being afraid of their opponent is a real rarity. If they're fearful of anything it's losing future paydays.
Joshua has always been afraid of Wilder. Hearn is so petrified about losing his cash cow that he's criticizing Wilder and they havent even negotiated. When the promoter is talking more the fighter than something is wrong.
Wilder is so scared to get his jaw shattered he has focused his 40 fight career on bus drivers and tomato cans who can't harm him.
When Wilder gets ktfo by Ortiz or (if he somehow gets past granpa) Joshua he can retire as he's got a great future in reality tv. He's got all the characteristics to be a reality tv star - thick as mince, ****ing annoying and a delusional sense of his own ability and importance.
It doesnt take a rocket scientist to work out that deonkey is scared as are his handlers. They know he is packing glass. Everyone knows it infact. The sparring stories and being heavily dropped by two carnival fat men are the proof.
Just one look at this idiot's gormless face and I can already hear the cliched garbage he's going to spew in that irritating faux-ghetto squeaky voice of his. He's a tedious moron with nothing remotely relevant to say about anyone or anything, and he has about as much charisma as a pork scratching. At least he's (unintentionally) funny, but even that's wearing thin.
