How long would it take (to train at boxing) and be able to defend yourself?

Well even though I'm an ass-kicking machine right now unfortunately I have not been in another fight (yet!).

Oh and I'm still "acting" as gay as possible (i.e., not pretending I'm something I'm not) and still no fights...even at the gym no one cares. Crazy isnt it???

No, I'm not that low to beat somebody up or kick their heads in, I rarely get into fights. I was being sarcastic. Kyz or whatever his name is, needs to change his mentality.

The forum is half dead again so I thought I'd bring back this thread for some amusement.

I wonder if this dip**** has gotten himself into any more fights. I'd love to hear from him.

My highest reccomendatuon would be to join a boxing gym, but if not then my second highest reccomendation is to start shadow boxing constantly, every day, startoff at 3 minutes a day and work up to 30. Make sure your form is right and do it aggressvely as you would in a real fight. I started doing this a year ago and it feels stupid at first but the results are undeniable. Best of luck to you and always try to avoid trouble whenever you can.

Are you kidding me? This guy minded his own business and did literally nothing and yet you say he instigated/caused the fight.

How about this, what if the guy that called him a ****** got on here asking about self defense and told the same story except from his perspective?

Wow. You're desperate to argue again aren't you?

Did you read the part where he threw a drink in the guys face? He had the option of walking away or staying and letting the situation esculate, he stayed and instigated a fight by attacking the guy with his beverage. Is that difficult for you to grasp?

I'd call him a **** as well. Why?

You're the one that revived this shitty thread lmao

Yes I did and that's a pretty tame response to what the other guy did. How do you know he had the option of walking away? You think the guy is going to call him a ******, get up in his face and be aggressive af, throw his food on the ground and then just let him walk away? That's the dumbest most naive sheltered rich kid **** I've ever heard.

To protect himself and those around him he had no choice but to engage the threat.

From what you posted you would have said he wasn't the cause. All you do is go around playing devil's advocate getting into arguments. You literally told a guy that was minding his own business that he is the cause of the fight. Idiot.

Really? "Grapefruit, Today at 2:55 AM"

The fact he could have walked away before the guy walked over.... As has been stated multiple times the situation should not have been allowed to esculated to where it ended up.

Aggressive as ****?! Hahaha. You think that's aggressive as ****? You don't go out much do you?

Point is he could have walked away at any point, he chose not to and instigated a fight. Why is that difficult for you to accept?

He had a choice, he chose to fight.

"To protect himself and those around him" did you not work out that this moron can't fight? Who's he defending by getting into a fight when he lacks the ability to defend himself? If anything he's putting his friends in even more danger by doing so.

He was acting like a complete ***** but he didn't initiate the fight.

Actually, the vast majority of my arguments on this forum over the past year has been involving you and pretty much only you.

Actually, I said the cause of the fight was him throwing a drink in the guys face. Idiot.
