The point you proved is that you have an unshakable faith in tale of the tape statistics.

No, but I definitely have more faith in them than I do in your comparison of a middle aged man in streetclothes and shoes, standing next to a trained boxer in a ring robe! I have also more confidence in the witnessed and published weigh in weights of boxers and can then compare them at different stages of their careers and respective ages.

Louis is a full head taller than him when they hug, if anything Griffith is shorter than billed...I mean, what is going on here.

    Regarding the topic...

I mean Joe Louis is listed as 6'2", Ken Norton and Foreman are usually listed at 6'3" Of course they look to be of similar height....they are.

I was joking around but he looks about three, maybe four inches shorter than Louis in the clip (rather than 7+), because Griffith is wearing some ridiculous heels. You guys are crazy.

I was wearing some cowboy boots while watching the clip, that may have done it.

This thread remember me to the topic "marciano had the frame of frazier, tua and tyson" simply laughable.
The most funny thing is the part where anyone said that louis was obviously smaller because the numbers in height, weight etc but some simpletons answered saying that the weight etc was not correct and several times it was invented... Lmao they changed the history from a forum closed topic

Speaking personally I think a lot more of Joe Louis than I do of Foreman or Norton. The fact that they are 1.5" taller is just what it is ,a height disparity of an inch and a half. Foreman has 2.5" inches in reach on Joe whereas Norton has 4".

I think Emile left the coat hanger in that jacket to enhance that 1970s fetish for pointy shoulders.

Just use the eye test. Most tape measure stats are entirely misleading.
