If he decides to brawl with Peter he could be carried out feet first.

Liston was the the harder hitter why would he be carried out feet first if he traded with Peter ?

 

Liston too technically skilled for Peter. Peter might hurt Sonny with those wide sweeping punches he threw, Peter hit a lot of guys in the neck and back of the head.

 

I disagree that Liston hit harder than Peter. He was better, yes, but Peter has raw power that few can match.

Peter has nothing to take the power off Listons power punches - no slipping , no head movement , no lateral movement , no defense , no nothing.
If Sonnys power wasn't bad enough ,Peter makes it worse by walking into him face first.

The impact when fist meets head sends shock waves reverberating throughout every fiber of Peters body right down to his boots leaving a crumpled flesh heap before Liston in just a matter of rounds.

Peters chin is also overrated. He was nearly gone against MaCline in two rounds and got Rahman'd II'd against Helenius of all people ^^^

 

That's your opinion and you are alone on it.. Liston is routinely called one of the greatest punchers of all time I've never heard anyone refer to Peter as such.
