I see, so it came from that movie. Thanks dude I love the movie, probably the best of Snipes. Still, the statement stand. Never bet on Cuban. I am picking Gassiev, Hurd to put the hurt on Lara and Wilder to knock Ortiz out, no matter how I can't stand the Alabama drumstick lol
Love Bertolucci and The Last Emperor, its a pity that film gets no love now days, its all but forgotten, same with Scorsese's Kundun, which IMO is probably one of his best films, and sadly almost no one I know has seen it.
Unpopular opinion but I can see Dorticos winning maybe I certainly don’t think it’s as one sided as many ppl on forums do, but then again i doubt it goes 12 and I can imagine a Gassiev KO more than a Dorticos.. should be interesting
I haven't seen much of either fighter, but what I have seen is making me favour Dorticos. I like his variety and shot selection. I think he'll find it easier to get through his high guard than others have and will stop Gassiev.
I think Gassiev is going to take it because he has a better chin, but Dorticos can really bang and is pretty skilled too, so it could go either way.
Gassiev has shown that he can be gritty when he needs to, and is the only fighter that legitimately beat Lebedev, although an on the slide one. That gives him the edge here in my opinion, but I won't be surprised if relatively unproven Dorticos makes it a hard bout or even beats him.
Holy, i think Dort is being underestimated here a bit. I will pick the cuban to go against the grain. By late KO. I like both guys and really just want another amazing fight like saturday nights!!!!!
gassiev is a slow starter, perfect for dorticos at least to have a go at landing loads of those big 1-2s he stopped kurdrayshov with. if no success then I think gassiev will stop dorticos late, just re-watched the lebadev fight and man that guy was mashed by the end of it will be very interesting to see how usyk deals with those shots to the body
Dorticos is a complete fighter: power, speed, footwork, good defense, etc. Gassiev is very strong, but otherwise he appears to be a basic, somewhat limited boxer.
Sullivan Barrera? His only loss, to Ward, was when he was considered a nobody and not given a chance. Since then, he exceeded my expectations and showed himself a decent operator - beating Shaba, Joe Smith and Valera. I reckon he'll lose to Bivol but kudos for taking him on. Anyhow... irrelevant to this case - I agree Gassiev by KO but I would not be surprised if, like Briedis, Dorticos impresses in defeat.
Neither I was considering Barrera as someone with a decent chance when he faced Ward. The difference is that no one ever had huge expectations from Barrera. Plus in his next fight he will probably loose against Bivol.
