The guy has the same high-guard stance Clottey had, except Clottey did not have so much hype behind him. I don't know what a hell you guys are watching, but from all the tapes I've seen of this guy, I don't see what some of you are seeing. Some has gone as far as assigning him attributes which any objective fan knows he does not posses. Consider a potential head to head match up with Joshua. I've read some posters on here describe how he's gonna use his superior speed and footwork to dominate Joshua. Wait a minute, what speed? Not saying the guy is slow but were is this speed that I'm not seeing? His fans also talk about how he's gonna use his superior skills to beat Joshua. Again, this another case of fans assigning attributes to their favorite fighter which honestly, they do not posses. Offensively and defensively I don't think Usyk is more skilled than Joshua. Take a closer look at Usyks offence, honestly there aren't that much variety to his offense. What he does he does well but from his previous fights to his last fight last Saturday, I haven't seen so much addition in terms of skills to his offense. Triple jab righthand...... Triple jab right hand.....is this what you guys mean by superior skills. And don't even get me started with his lack of head movement and inability to cut of the ring. Some are comparing him to Holyfield which I think is absurd. David Haye of 7 years ago would have stopped Usyk. People need to learn to separate their feeling when assessing a fighter and look at thing objectively.
