If he was "extremely chinny" he would have been KTFO unconscious the second Jason Sosa or Darleys Pérez or Michael Fareñas or Daniel Ponce de León or Jorge Solís or Orlando Salido landed on him. Despite his athleticism and good defensive instincts & training, they all did land at least some power punches on his head - and those ****ers all hit hard enough that if you're "extremely chinny", buenos noches.

I'll say that I never considered Postol to be his best win. It was alright. Gamboa and Diaz are better.

O.K let's say he was just chinny I remember the commentators saying he had been dropped multiple times when he fought TC.

I've been accused of the same thing when I backed Crawford in that fight. Most people on this forum live in a fairytail land.

Way too many posters still pick sides like it's some team sport.

Many still wish it was their good ol’ days of the early 90’s when all they had to worry about was Tommy Morrison ;) Times have changed! Lol And it’s so much fun to see their dumb smug attitudes turn into bitter and panicky delusion. And it’s only going to get better from here :D

And Gamboa was down 4 times and saved by falling into Crawford and the ropes two more. After the third round the bout was all Crawford.

Claiming that the majority of posters on this forum rated Postol to nearly mountainous levels is a lie.

It's all relative. Relative to those same people now sh!tting on him, yeah, not that much of an exaggeration.

It's not the greatest resume ever by any means,
but he took on and beat (in dominating fashion)
the best guys in 2 divisions. Admittedly the
divisions weren't filled with P4P guys at the time
that he did so but you can only fight who's there.

If its good enough for Golovkin (1 division), Kovalev
(1 division), Loma (2 divisions), to all be considered
top 5, then why criticize Crawford for the same route.

They all beat top guys but not P4P guys in their
    respective divisions.

It’s sooo stupid how THEY always break out the Postol card now. I never once claimed he was going to be some world beater or even beat the weight bully ‘BUD’ yet get accused of it. Then I ask them to bump any past posts where I claimed that and whatta ya know... they never can!

Crawford's resume isn't weak. Postol, Gamboa, Indongo, and Burns were all titleholders/former titleholders. Diaz was a good fighter. He just makes good fighters look average.

Some dudes are better than the resume indicates. Bud destroys good fighters.

As a fan of GGG and Bud, they were similar in that regard. GGG has the better level of comp now, but I expect Bud to land great matchups soon enough.

It only doesn't add up when I see people backing Bud who slammed GGG for resume when the situations are actually quite similar.
