I'm a big Lewis fan. The TKO 6 Klit lickers is a pop at the pro Vitali fans (I'm actually a big Vitali fan, I just thought Lewis beat him fair and square and the Klitschko fans shiuld swallow it up for what it was, a very good performance in defeat)

Wlad hits harder than McCall agreed. I do thint Lewis would be wise to this and just chuck a bomb out performance like Grant Ruddock, Golata etc in. However.. One right hand ... Game over

I would back the Ali who fought Terrell or the Holmes who beat Cooney to outbox Lennox ( with some rough moments of course ).

Big Lenny was always a bit wooden as far as his foot work goes and also very susceptible to the left jab.

If an aged n well past his prime Holyfield could manage to win rounds off and trouble Lennox I believe that Holmes and Ali could win say 10 rounds to 5 type decisions over Lennox.

Holmes would have to be very wary of Lewis' right hand over his jab though.

    Cheers All.

I would give a good chance to the best versions of:

    Dempsey
    Louis
    Liston
    Ali
    Holmes
    Tyson

i said if you give him all of the benefit of the doubt and are really optimistic then thats where i would put him. You dont have to give him the benefit of the doubt. I dont. Not really. But in some way he looked like a bigger harder hitting version of a young Holyfield.
Incredible activity and engine, iron jaw, good fundamentals and solid power. And he didnt shut down and become defensive when confronted with tuas power, so he would keep working and punching against lewis unlike tua who stopped trying. That, at the very least makes him dangerous for Lewis who threw much fewer punches and had a suspect chin.

No he didnt have the resumee but his chin, stamina, heart and technique fundamentals are a known quantity. His power is at least well above average.

    Not many.
    Ali, Liston, Foreman... probably.
    Holmes, Tyson... maybe.
    A few others... possibly.

I see it the same way. The idea of Ali dancing with his hands at his waist against a right hand puncher like Lennox is intriguing. It wouldn' take that many mistakes

I would take Bowe, if he was motivated.

    Dempsey
    Tyson
    Frazier

    50/50

    Vitali
    Wlad
    Ali

Buster Douglas. That's actually a pretty solid pic. I never think of him but for one night he put it all together.

At the risk of turning this into a TKO6 thread ... I have always thought Vitali had the goods to beat him.

If Lewis is focused ..and fully trained ..and in a destructive mode ..very few are winning .I'll say Ali by a slim margin .I.believe he stops Louis, Marciano and Frazier and a Good many others .Holmes and prime Liston could have a good shot .

I think Ali and Holmes would outbox him convincingly. Both of them were slippery as hell and nightmare counter-punchers. Even at his best Lewis was too lackadaisical with his jab to compete with the two of them.

I am thoroughly convinced that a prime Foreman and Tyson would bulldoze him.

Holyfield would be even money with the right game plan.

That's it. Everyone else is an underdog against Lennox IMO.
