We're potentially looking at there being 2 PPV events on the same night if Box Nation get the Canelo GGG rematch.

Will they though? I can only imagine the numbers would be poor. Practically, the whole casual fanbase in the UK would buy Haye Bellew before Canelo GGG. The casual fans are what drive PPV numbers up, and how many of them are going to stay up til the wee hours to buy another PPV?

Maybe Box Nation will realise they're onto plums with this one and ditch it. Clearing the way for Sky to pick it up and offer it as a 2 fight event along with Haye Bellew. Alternatively, maybe Box Nation will still show it, but just not PPV.

It’s the usual trick by Hearn to set the date of his fight to be the same as the boxnation show.

He is going for a seek and destroy approach to try to run down the competition revenue and views.
It’s not sustainable in the long run.

And ultimately it’s bad for the sport.
Without AJ Hearns is done for.

To be fair Haye has to not break between now and May.

So probably will just be the 1 PPV that night.

The GGG-Canelo fight was arranged after the Haye-Bellew fight so how can this be Hearns fault. Another case of Hearn bashing for no reason at all

If Boxnation try to do GGG v Canelo 2 as a Ppv it will flop hard.

People will not buy two ppvs. I expect sly to pick up the Canelo fight and bundle it as a Ppv with the Bellew v Haye fight

Let's be real here guys, the fights take place in two completely different time zones. The Haye v Bellew Main Event will be finished hours before any meaningful undercard fight stateside.

So if the time isn't an issue what is? Having to fork out around £20 each for two great pieces of entertainment? Really?

I don't think sky can package the two events together even if they wanted too for contractual reasons. And BN can't hope to sell this as a sucessfull PPV with Haye-Bellew already on and also they won't have a UK leg to build into it like last time.

It will be either a standalone on sky or more then likely BN.

    A circus surrounding it yeah.

In the ring Bellew Haye is a great fight. Last time was fantastic. I’m genuinely looking forward to it.

Easily one of the fights of the year last year. Because of the drama and the way the fight unfolded in the ring. Both were going toe to toe swinging like madmen going for the KO, can't see how anyone didn't enjoy it.

Everyone did. It’s just because they’re both a pair of ****s outside the ring nobody wants to admit it!

To be fair and I dont normally praise him, that fight was worth a watch only for Haye. He held in as long as he could despite the injury, the drama came from this. The fight descended into the slug out it was due to his injury and him fighting on.

If this was Haye of 5/6 years ago im sure Bellew woulda been sparked. Its interesting due to the unknowns about Haye.

I expect so, so if GG vs Canelo ends up on Boxnation and you pay for a month on 20/21 April, you will presumably also get Frampton vs Donaire and Selby vs Warrington.
