You obviously have never met him. He is one of the nicest guys you could ever wish to meet. Lennox ALWAYS fought under the Union Jack as a pro

    To get back on topic...
    Chuvalo wasn't exactly chopped-liver..
Look at the Murderer's Row the div. was when he fought. Foreman, Joe, Patterson, Williams etc etc Ali x2, distance both times!
Never knocked down, Ali said he was the "toughest" guy he ever fought

I could see him grinding Lewis to a W.

Nah. His best bet would be catching Lewis on an off night and having a McCall/Rahman moment.

Is Lennox considered more British or Canadian?

Because Nonito Donaire is always listed as Filipino, not American. By that logic and those who use it, Lennox is/was a British boxer.

Tommy Burns is certainly only behind Langford/Lennox.

Canadian, obviously. He represented Canada in the Olympics and he has always said the ONLY reason he debuted in UK as a professional was strictly because of the boxing scene in Canada (Completely dead then and completely dead now). Also, the lack of infrastructure to support professional boxing was also a major factor in his decision.

His heart has always been with Canada, he just went to the UK because he needs to make a living. Simple as that.

I'm British to the core, bangers and mash and all the rest of it, but Lewis actually puts effort into letting people know he's Canadian, like he purposely wants people to know, to clear it up and imo distances himself from the UK. When him and Frank or Deidre Maloney,or whatever it calls himself these days split, the act was over, Lennox's blag of "He's British and he's bad" was binned..

Everybody knows the UK love a Heavyweight, it was purely for financial reasons..I actually think he has a little problem with the whole idea that hes British !
