His no better the Joe lol you don't need to be a trainer to know that a fighter like price who gasses should be coming in the lightest he can and how the hell did he do pad work with price that would have been great to see lol

Yep. I've said many times here that Penfold telling Price to put on weight was beyond stupid.

And then as someone pointed out totally threw him under the bus after Hammer, blamed it all on his mentality in the ring rather than accepting blame. He gave such **** poor corner advice in that fight.

    It was because of Bellew.

Now he's with Derry Mathews who has very little experience.

To be fair I don’t recall anyone ever saying Dave Coldwell is a top class coach.

"HE WILL GAS BEFORE YOU DAVID!" When Price was already blowing hard.

While it's a cynical piece of matchmaking, Povetkin-Price makes a lot of sense from a promotional point of view if they are positioning Povetkin for a fight with Joshua.

Price is physically imposing and a recognisable name, and offers a strong chance of a spectacular knockout to build Povetkin with casual fans. With Price it is the classic last-chance saloon, and if my some miracle he lands the bomb he's suddenly right in the heavyweight mix.

I don't particularly want to see Price stretched out again, but there is a curiosity factor with this fight that there wouldn't be with most other match-ups between Povetkin and someone on Price's level.

Brook-Golovkin shouldn't have happened if Eddie was looking to build Brook into a crossover star. There isn't anything inherently wrong with a welterweight champ taking on a middleweight champ, but it didn't make sense for your budding superstar's big coming out party to be a fight where he would in all likelihood lose by stoppage. If the welter champ is already established like say Napoles against Monzon, there's less risk to his credibility by stepping up and then dropping back down. The eye injury obviously had a major impact on Brook, but it's not like every fighter who jumps up in weight suffers a career-threatening injury.

If on the other hand the aim was to fill box-office slots and make some money out of Brook before his career drifted by, fighting Golovkin and then Spence means more £££ than a dozen fights against the likes of Bizier, Dan and Gavin.

He's just a completely untrustworthy, devious little rat isn't he. Just something about him. He's a wrong un'.

I didn't mean he done well fightwise I meant he has done well to get this fight from nowhere, wins and gets no.1 and future shot at AJ... Loses and he gets a decent pay packet and won't need to feel sorry for himself like usual
