There's a reason he's still in Canada today trying to help the scene, the scene that made him who he is.

He fought the Majority of his fights in the US you idiot.Why not get the Canadian Flag,why not appeal to the Canadians who supported him in the Olympics.It would've meant extra revenue for him.He says out of his own mouth,'I was always British,ever since those Canadian boys bullied me for having a East London Cockney accent'.

 

It was already confirmed that it was because it was for money, there's no market here in Canada, none.

He wouldn't get a big market even if he fought out of Canada. He got so much money fighting out of Britain, that's a fact.

The fact is, he already admitted himself that he ONLY moved to the UK because there's no infrastructure in Canada. Even after he retired, he still refuses to go to the UK, he stays in Canada/US. End of.

You're talking as if the UK Scene was Amazing and booming it really wasn't.He has also admitted his British Passport comes first and he was always 'British'.I dont get what the big problem is,quite simply a British Born Jamacian with Canadian Citizenship.

 

UK had a good of decent fighters around that time, end of.

Canada had 0 fighters LOL and no scene to speak of. That's the difference.

I think if he represented Canada in the Olympics he kinda should've stuck with that as his base really. Bit weird representing them at the highest level as an amateur then trying to sell himself as British as a pro. A Canadian accent didn't help matters either. It just didn't feel right to most I think !
