Other MWs that could go toe to toe with Sam Peters?

The question was being asked which fighter that started at middle could take on Peters like Toney who wasn`t a natural heavy.

 

Peter and Lacy were crap, Lacy wouldn`t even KO`d a semi-decent cruiser, he was awful.

Charles and Paterson were natural light heavies and punched harder than Toney, James even looked a little too slow at light heavy let alone heavy, Paterson and Charles were quicker than Toney at heavy and were cut Toney`s body looked quite bad and was awful when he fought Peter.

 

LaMotta looked bad at light heavy! Jake used to roll with shots that`s why he could fight like that in wars at heavy wit his height he`d be too slow to react and roll and he`d be getting hit alll the time first because Peter`s arms would be so much longer. Jones could have beat Peter but not taken the punches that Toney took and he certainly couldn`t go toe to toe with Sam. Canelo`s way too small he`s even shorter than GGG coming up from light middle in one weight too far, that has never been done and never will be I don`t even think Canelo could fight at super middle, his body was totally compact at middle he would look strange and move strange at heavy. Surely you are joking about Ray Leonard he was crap at super middle and light heavy, he even stated the punches he took at middle and super middle were so hard it took his breath away, Ray Robinson was bigger than most of his opponents even at middle, he leaned to fight using his reach advantage and jab Peter would out reach him and going toe to toe wasn`t Ray`s style unless he was going in for the kill.

SRR was never a heavy middle .

 

I think Guillermo Jones of 05-11 not only stands toe to toe with Peter, he probably beats him as well. And guy started his career at 147, even had a regional 154 title and fought for the WBA title there twice.
